Just heard that Pellegrini was fired by West Ham after yesterday's loss to Leicester. Very sad undecided

However, I was in a viewing centre today and a fierce argument erupted about who was the better DM overall; Fabinho or Ndidi?

No side capitulated and the summary of it all was this; Fabinho is a better DM at initiating the attack after winning the ball but Ndidi was better at breaking up play/winning the ball than Fabinho.

What do you guys think?

Ndidi is better , Ndidi will easily play CB self jut as fernandinho

Let him play for a quality team like liverpool you might change your view if you think fabinho is better

But we cant take it away from fabinho also, the guy dey work for liverpool self

That's a tough one but the edge ndidi have over fernadinho and fabinho is that he is younger and still developing.

Kelechi Iheanacho for @LCFC this season:

19 minutes vs Luton (1 goal)
66 minutes vs Burton (1 goal)
28 minutes vs Everton (1 goal, 1 assist)
64 minutes vs Aston Villa (1 goal, 1 assist)
39 minutes vs Norwich (None)
90 minutes vs West Ham (1 goal)

Directly involved in a goal every 44 minutes! Crazy!

Nacho looks so fit in the pic there. I hope he maintains it.

Fernandinho is the best among them, its so funny dude was ukraine till almost when he was 29, he even paid part of his transfer fees from his pocket

Ndidi is better in terms of breaking up play and tackling. Also he covers more ground that the duo of fabinho and fernandinho but they re better on the ball than him

If he continues like this, then he would be making a permanent switch to Turkey, in the summer.

Well, he is already gathering that attention little by little. This guy is Gaziantep's go-to man in all games. He is majorly the reason they sit in 9th for now. They used to be a little well down in the bottom 10.

He just needs to keep scoring to get more attention. And don't forget apart from his 8 goals he has bagged 5 assists too.

That is a direct goal involvement per game. 13 goals involvements in 13 league games.

Permanent move to Turkey loading. Wouldn't be a bad move, I mean any of the top three teams, I know they must have been keeping notice

I will pick Ndidi . The primary responsibility of a DM is to defend and secure. moreso , the other two MFs can concentrate on attack.
BTW, I think we might be under rating Ndidi 's attacking and passing attribute.

Copied from EASports Fifaforum. Ndidi is called IF Ndidi. People on the forum were comparing Rodri, Ndidi and Fabinho.

IF Ndidi with powerhouse is superb. I prefer him to Rodri, but never used Fabinho.

ndidi's probably the best. The problem with the other two is how stiff they are, if you're trying to break down park the bus/dropback they can be an issue.

IF Ndidi means 'In form' Ndidi, it is a gaming term referring to an upgraded version of Ndidi in Fifa due to his performances

So don't take the term too seriously

It is a thing of preference.

I can get why many prefer Fabinho, better footballer on the ball and with passes. However, personally, I feel the defensive side of the dmf role is more important than creativity. As long as the dmf can make simple passes for the other players in less risky position to create.

Ndidi has my pick because I feel he is more suited for what I think should be the role of a dmf.

this could be tricky based on who 1 prefers but judging strictly on overall performance and stats Wilfred edges fab but there's good argument for why fab might be better than ndidi based on better passing numbers and overall midfield control. However I would naturally prefer the Nigerian player until fab do something extra special that will clearly show him ahead of ndidi
