Adam Idah has been capped by Ireland after having his debut today
Hopefully he doesn't go the same way as Obafemi

Maybe, maybe not, time will tell. He's not good enough for us ATM so he made the right decision. I don't know but going by antecedent, he will fizzle out soon. UK contries save for England always have young squad but they don't do sh*t. Their players hardly meet expectations -- perfect example is B. Woodbury

Nevertheless, Goodluck to Idah

Cannot believe you forgot these:

-Zaidu to FC Porto.

-Dessers to KRC Genk.

There are others of course but a high profile move like Zaidu's should be Number Two on your list after Osimhen's.

Subzero047:
Summer Transfers for Nigerian players

Osimhen - Napoli
Chidera Ejuke - CSKA Moscow
Ebuehi - FC Twente
Uzoho - Apoel Nicosia
Maduka Okoye - Sparta Rotherdam
Leon Balogun - Rangers

Ogenyi Onazi - Crotone (pending)
Mikel Agu- Nantes (pending)
Arokodare - Anderlecht (pending)

Is this the best window for Nigerian born players?

Napoli end their training/camping retreat in Castel Di Sangro later today with a game against Teramo.

Victor is expected to feature.

This below is their offer of thanks for the time spent at Castel. Vic dey back towards the left of the pic, behind the only bespectacled guy in the pic. Backman grin

The disrespect to Thierry Henry by the Drogba Fans caused a comparism with our own Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

Yak vs Drogba

If Yak got such numbers playing for average teams, don't you feel he'd have surpassed Drogba's EPL numbers if he played for a top 4 team? And hence the better striker!?

Yak will get more goals than drogba playing for a top club

Drogba didn’t even average 1 goal in every 2 epl game ,and yes that doesn’t stop him from being world class or a great player ,but some deluded Chelsea fan are comparing him with Samuel eto ,I just laugh at them ,dude won’t even lace eto boots

Drogba 254 epl games ans 104 goals

Yakubu 252 epl games and 95 goals

it won't be easy for Yakubu to score or live up to the expectation drogba did playing for big club is not easy

Not necessarily. As history would have it, players featuring for average teams and doing very well may not be able to turn out the same performances at a top tier team. An environment that expects very little from you can surprisingly summon some performance demons. On the other hand an environment that expects a lot from one can be one's undoing.

Why not? grin

Drogba was compared to Igwe. If so, don't you think this is a more closer and precise comparism? Its true na. 8goals difference

I feel Yak was the better striker, odd as it stands o. I know Drogba oozes frenzy. But the epl stats alone...... Lol

So answer first

If Yak played in Chelsea or Man U, Liverpool, will he or wont surpass Drogba's goals?

Or better still, if they swapped clubs who will score higher?

Yunno we don't really hype Yak here.

That's a good one right there. Yak was a beast. But looking at the stats again, Drogba come dey like another overhypped African player. cheesy. He barely did better than Yak. That man indeed deserves some props.

Unpopular Opinion

Apart from Ferland Mendy of Real Madrid.
This players from France were not called up for their recent matches by their coach.
But I bet you this particular squad of players will win many nations squad if a match is organized.

When will the Super Eagles of Nigeria get to this level.
I believe in no distant time.

I don't think the NFF will be too willing to move the team back to Abuja... There is no governor there to entice them with money ..

Unless bubu and the FCT minister will be willing to part with some cash

Alampasu is at a lower level compared to those mentioned now. So he is not in the convo for now but his time will come hopefully.

How is Alampasu at a lower level compared to Adeleye and Tobias?

The last time I checked both are playing in second divisions of Isreal and Austria respectively compared to Alampasu playing in Latvia first division.

There's more to it than this.

I hope Onazi signs for Crotone. However, I think the introduction of MRI test has helped our football. Oyinbos will nologer worry of buying overaged players. Kudos to the Inventor of MRI. Best thing to happen to use.

Samson Tijani - Red bull Salzburg is the third biggest move so far behind Napoli and Porto. CSKA and Gent follows.

To the best of my knowledge.
