PLEASE I NEED URGENT CONTRIBUTION

I want to submit my ACS evaluation, I have filled the form three times and yet I did not get any email with the application reference number. Also when I got the payment page and I tried to use my Diamond Bank Visa Card, it was rejected and I have enough money in the account to cover the payment. Please did anyone evaluate via ACS recently? If yes what payment method did you use and can someone suggest why I'm not getting email with the reference number from ACS. Please people help me, thanks.

thank you for this tread what if you have worked for like 8yrs but you lost your job can you still apply for the jobs that fit your experience and also how many month statement of account is requested

Yes, you can still apply. Your experience must be in the last ten 10 years preceding your application.

You don't need statement of account to apply, you only need bank statement as an evidence that you were paid your employer in addition with payslip and tax clearance certificate (if you have)...

Yes you can apply as job experience is calculated as of the past ten years irrespective of whether you are currently working or not. I would rather you use payslips instead of statement of account.If you decide to use payslips, 2 payslips for each year of work experience ( say January & december ) will do. please see below for more clarification;

Skilled employment:
Only 20 points can be awarded for any combination of skilled employment in and outside Australia
Outside Australia: skilled employment in your nominated skilled occupation or a closely related skilled occupation
• In skilled employment for at least three but less than five years (of the past 10 years)---------------5 points
• In skilled employment for at least five but less than eight years (of the past 10 years)----------------10points
• In skilled employment for at least eight and up to 10 years (of the past 10 years)---------------------15points

Oga Bellong has already answered this question;
You don't need statement of account to apply, you only need bank statement as an evidence that you were paid your employer in addition with payslip and tax clearance certificate (if you have)...
You need a total of 60 points to be invited by DIBP.
for 190 visa--- will give you additional 5 points while
489 visa--- will give you additional 10 points

bblessed:
Please do they request for statement of account for processing PR and how many points do state need? is it 50 or 60 point.

Lucky you that marketing specialist is now being sponsored by northern territory. My advice is for you to get at least 10 points from English test to be able to apply for 190 because the truth is that you need at least 50points from age, qualification, english test and work experience for you to bag at least a total of 60points (assuming you are even considering 489) after being nominated by NT.

dgr8est:
I must commend the poster and creator of this thread @bellong for taking it upon urself to compile this.... Kudos

Checking d SOL and CSOL, I found my skill which is MARKETING SPECIALIST (ANZSCO Code 225113)
Marketing Specialist is assessed by VETASSESS. But the last time I checked the ANZSCO search site, No state was sponsoring it and it not eligible for 189 subclass so I pulled back.

Tried checking back today and I found out Northern Territory is now sponsoring it since dey just update their NT Migration Occupation List.

I have my docs/requirement ready.

What chance do I have knowing that its only being sponsored by a state??.

I already have 45points with my age, Edu. qualification and work experience.

Thanks

Seeing the current card transfer limits, it is very likely the amount you are trying to pay is above your card limit. As of now, the default limit per card is USD1000 per quarter, and USD300 per day. How much are you trying to pay?

Well you can try the easiest option first. Speak with your bank (s) to see if they can raise your daily limit without necessarily raising your quarterly limit of $1k.

Also try to see if you can split your payments, I'm not familiar with ACS though.
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 3:51am On Apr 19, 2016
@dgr8est,

To be considered for state sponsorship, you must have done your skills assessment as it is one of the requirements.

I will advice you get on to the assessment ASAP before the list is updated. While at the assessment, write an English exam and aim for at least a proficient score to get 10 points.

Doyen06,

Your payment exceeded the daily allowable limit, it is why it didn't get through. As advised earlier, consult your bank.

Secondly, you can't get a reference number from ACS until payment is made because that is when it is assumed you applied.

Thanks okpas12 and Bellong .... I'll try taking the English Exam Asap
On the NT occupation List, it was emphatically stated that someone taking the MARKETING SPECIALIST must attain @least 7points in all categories.

I only need 5points more since I already have 55points in Age/Edu and Work respectively;

Age: 30point
Edu Qual: 15points
Work Exp: 10points
IELTS: pending

My Question is if I probably didn't make 7points as specified in the NT list, will I be possibly considered? even if I get a positive assessment?

2. My 1st Degree carries Purchasing and Supply while my MBA carried Marketing. I have my 1st degree Transcript and Cert but My MBA has not been issued.

Do u advice I use the Bsc only or wait till the MBA is issued?

If it is their requirement, then You must score at least 7 in speaking, writing, listening and reading to be considered for nomination but you need to also apply for skills assessment first.
Using your MBA or first degree depends on which one is closely related to your chosen occupation and don''t forget that points calculation for work experience is post qualification.

Dgr8est,

You can not lay claim to points in work experience until after assessment. Some assessing authorities cut down on years of experience depending on your circumstances. Don't add work experience point yet.

I will advice that you get the MBA transcript and add to the assessment especially for VETASSES.

On the marketing specialist occupation, what Is the minimum academic qualification required for the job?

Aside NT requirement, I am of the opinion that the least you should get in IELTS should be 7 points across band to get 10points from Language skill.

Thanks bellong for opening this thread.
VETASSES i assume might give a negative assessment because i applied to an Australian University for Masters in Accounting with my Accounting degree here from a state university, they said it is equivalent to an Associate degree, which has militated against considering any of the skilled migration visa classes for Accounting occupations on the SOL, CSOL. RSMS.
Do you think i could get a positive assessment if i apply to Vetasses, my Back evaluated by World evaluation service as equivalent to USA 4 year Accounting degree.
Thanks boss

ChisOsin,

Your qualification will be assessed by the body responsible for the occupation you nominate. Check the SOL and CSOL list for occupation that matches your skill. The assessing authority is right in front of it on the list.
OK....Thanks

First, VETASSES is not responsible for assessing accountants. There are three bodies doing that, you can assess with any of them. Check the list for their contact.

Your syllabus and course content will determine whether you get positive or negative. If you have ICAN, it will strengthen your application.

1. If you follow what I wrote in the opening and subsequent posts, you will be able to calculate the points you have control over. I can't calculate her total points until she has done skill assessment and written English test.

2. You can check the two list for a closely related occupation. However, since she has been teaching and has a certificate degree in Education, she can nominate teaching.

3. Yes, she can use it for DIBP. If she gets 8 in each band, that is 20points.

4. If she is assessing as a teacher, she should use both.

Or is this the case of money made there is spent there?
Please I would appreciate your candid opinion as we are thinking of starting the migration process.

Saving is subjective. Depends on the lifestyle you want to live. You can save and invest back home if it is your plan while at the same time, you may not save if you live extravagant lifestyle.

There is no Yes or No to your question. But it is doable if it is what you want.

Check your assessing body to know if either one is required or you can choose. As for the band, the higher the better for points... minimum of 6 in each = 0point, 7 in each = 10 points and 8 in each = 20 points
Apart from what your assessing body requires there are other english tests you can take to boost your points with their various score descriptions. Read the first post by Bellong on this thread to get the list of links to visit.

Skills Occupation List with the corresponding Assessing Authorities

I think Bellong already explained the general process. Nursing is on SOL and CSOL for most states. Your assessing body is ANMAC . You are required to have 7.0 or equivalent in all bands In IELTS for Registered Nurse category. Check the ANMAC website for more details. The SOL link is

https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/SOL

ANMAC: http://www.anmac.org.au

If you are considering state nomination, I advise you contact the state directly as it is somewhat faster. Check the CSOL of each state/territory.

Do you have experience in accounting at all? With what you wrote, you stand a better chance with your accounting than training and development. If you have experience in occupational health too, it is good, only that you will strife harder to get more points as the occupation requires a diploma which is 10points.
