This might sound insultive, but do people believe that using another people's language to live our lives- instead of our natural mother's tongues- make us stupid?

Because Nigerians use English language or other people’s language to teach moral concepts, human race concepts, technology concepts and commonsense concepts our natural talents have been corrupted with foreign mentality.

We sleep and wake up with foreign ideas/concepts not our own God given ideas. We have engineers, but we cannot solve common electricity problem, whereas, many Asian countries which live their lives with their mother’s tongue can boast of constant electricity. We have scientists we cannot make any innovation in development of human race. India who doesn’t speak English to live their lives has the highest number of medical doctors in the UK.
Iran, Russia, Israel who doesn’t speak English to live their lives has nuclear weapons.
We have criminologist we can not solve the problem of crime waves in the country. We have economists we cannot solve our economy problems. We have Historians, we have educated politicians, yet we cannot rule ourselves effectively…why?

Education is meant to open people eyes (civilization) to fight for their freedom. To make people know their human rights and to make people have self-confidence and self development, all these will lack in Nigeria despite our education.
Only in educated (civilized?) Nigeria you have rulers being imposed on people and they cannot fight (being stupid?), only in Nigeria people will take away your fundamental human rights and you cannot fight back.

In many civilized worlds people are equal before God and laws of the land, but in Nigeria educated fellows worship their fellow human beings like God, because they have no confidence in themselves.

I watch NTAi and AIT international and I could see how people struggled to express their feelings- on what is really bothering them- in other man’s language (English). I heard the Ministers misusing English words, I heard them using past tense instead of the present tense. A Minister said ‘the bill (1999 constitution) was wroted by the military government’. You find people in government addressing a large crowd on government activities with the language they can hardly understand.

Are we not being stupid with the English mentality?
