You can switch the MIUI OPTIMIZATION off @ the Developer option

Note: are you willing to sacrifice the long lasting battery life for multitasking?

Can you explain this better?
Am having similar issues..

What is the work of the miui optimization
And the flaws if on and when off

GrandMufti:

you have a vendor rom. check the unlock status of your phone first. if not unlocked, just use your previous unlock permission to unlock your bootloader. but you'll need to bind this phone to the account before you can flash.

thanks

the status is unlocked, but i am not clear on how to flash it without binding as all the procedures i saw on miforum seemed to have the unlocking bootloader and binding to the device as a per-requisite

i would appreciate if you can provide some clarification on what i need to do as i havent flashed ROMs before

Go ahead and try flashing because you needed to bind before unlocking, but since it's unlocked, then the next step is just to flash

****modified ***

Don't flash, wait

Screenshot Rom version? You probably downloaded incremental update which is not in sequence with your current rom

OK seen. That usually happens if you download a nightly update through OTA and it failed. And you later download manually and attempt to flash through recovery. I once solved it on note 5a by factory reset and updating through recovery afterwards. But that's too extreme. Copy the file to a safe place and wait for the public release. Or connect to a strong Wifi and try again
