honestly, I lost interest trying to explain to some here about the said 'custom charge'. Yes, I wanted to but it was obvious majority were comfortable with it.
I had to make some contacts to know why the sudden strange 'custom charges'. Lo and behold, they were dumbfounded about the situation.
Well, the situation is under investigation.
If anyone is charged with suspicious 'custom charge', he/she should just post the name and address of the post office and the rest will be taken care of.
Thanks so much for this. I always knew you had some useful suggestions on this but for the misunderstanding. It has been difficult to understand how come such strange charges. Thanks again.

Certainly not a Xiaomi phone, try oukitel, umidigi and co. Budget too low for your requirements.

What about the new Redmi 7? It reportedly costs just $105. And i have seen a Xiaomi phone on Aliexpress for around $60 or $70 i think. It is an older model o.

Redmi 7 is currently $145 on alixpress, don't expect the price to fall to $105 for the next 6 months. There is no Xiaomi phone under $100 with 6" and 4000mah.
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by ElvisMcCoy(m): 8:41am On Mar 19, 2019
The only phone you can get within that price bracket is 5.45" Redmi 6A with 3000mAh battery. 2gbRAM 16gb ROM. Supports almost all 4G LTE bands though. Don't expect it to perform like a flagship too...

..
..
but if no 4k, add 1k nd get the gome u7 with 6inch, 64gb/4gb ram , helio p25, but 3000mah

It all depends on how much resellers decide to sell it on Ali and co, I expect prices in the region of $20 - $25.. I ordered the Xiaomi airdots with Mi8, I would have waited if I knew this was coming, but no regrets..

https://m.gsmarena.com/redmi_airdots_wireless_buds_are_the_same_as_the_xiaomi_airdots_but_at_half_the_price-amp-36073.php

The emboldened was my exact estimation. But still, not really bad at that price. So, how's the Xiaomi Airdots performance?

Okay, tell me what you know that I don't know about the operations of custom officials at the airport.

Ok. My challenge with you from the beginning is that you keep on going on a long rant about how we are wrong regarding this custom stuff without literally providing any solution or way out. In life it is easy to "guide" people by sharing relevant information that you feel can help them and not by coming to say "this is wrong, false, untrue etc.
Well, experience has taught me a whole lot.
We should also try to be sure of what we post, especially in a public forum.

In as much as this is a public forum, I don't think sharing knowledge that would benefit everybody would have been a problem. You kept on saying you had a solution but wouldn't post it; Yet wonder why people are skeptical if your perceived solution.

If you have access to some information that would help stop the custom ish then say it once and let's apply it. No need yanking our chain everyday

Point out where 'I kept on saying I had a solution'?
You have a heads up already, so get on with it.
And if anyone is having difficulty, he should post the name and address of the PO.
that's all I can say regarding this... for now.
