Yea, she upgraded it to American standard but ineffective maintenace culture by the present Aviation Minister for the past one year could turn it into a near River Runway

what you say mehn? it's a new runway(reconstructed) so shouldn't be due for maintenance. if na every year all capital projects dey gulp fund in the name of maintenance, then we are on a long thing. even if you buy new car, dem go give you time which you have to check the engine and other facility.

The same thing with roads, these thieves would claim a lot of money to spend on roads, the roads would last for 6months before potholes take over. fantastically corrupt people.

Tho I have never been to Enugu International Airport. But if truly this is Enugu International Airport then it's a big slap on our faces. How can an International Runway have so many potholes

Jonathan budgeted so much for the remodeling of this Airport, but the likes of Mrs Stella Oduah and her Aviation Colleagues diverted this monies to their individual pockets.

I'll never support corruption even if it's done by a member of my Family.....

GEJ really meant well for this country, but his Ministers and several DG of government parastatals really messed things up.

Now over to Buhari let's all see what you can do about this

I heard several billions were being budgeted by GEJ to fix this runway, but somehow, someway, it's either the money was never released or it grew limbs and crawled away after it was released.

The last time a thread was opened on this NL forum to question what happened to the moneys budgeted for the fixing of this runway, the thread was instantly turned into a tribal battleground; one side suggested that Stella & GEJ had questions to answer, the others side vehemently refused that Stella or GEJ had any questions to answer even as they ascribed the poor state of the runway to 'targeted marginalisation.'

It is really sad that meaningful discussions can no longer take place anymore because of clannishness.
