The Samsung Galaxy S5 which started retailing in stores in Nigeria on Monday 11th April 2014, was officially premiered on Wednesday 16th April 2014 at a Grand Premiere event at Intercontinental Hotel, Lagos. The premiere was a West African event and hosted delegates, hobbyists and technology aficionados from Mali, Mauritius, Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon and Ivory Coast. The event was filled with amazing performances as expected – It started opened with an orchestra performance by Ayo Bankole, complete with trumpets and bag pipes.
