That looks very nice. You can take pictures of the stages to get to the final product.

You can if you want to. Some people use this method as a short cut.

@ OP I would love to know how to sew this dress. I saw it on Meghan Markle and I loved it.

This is a lovely dress and the pattern is very easy, all you have to do is cut out the front twice and taper it towards the end. You can use the basic dress pattern video tutorial that I have on YouTube

Please if you can just do a very quick demonstration I will appreciate it, I need to sew it for this summer. For example how many pieces of pattern will I have? and I don't know how to use the button hole function on my machine please talk me through. Thanks in advance

It was jus a short cut, of course you can use your short sleeve pattern.
