lawyer:
I am really sad about all these things i am reading about Brabus. If its one complainant then its a mistake but when you have 5, 10, 20 etc all complaining about the same thing then something is wrong somewhere.

Please help me with this, if i need to leave a shop i rented few months ago and another tenant in the same property wants to rent the shop, do i get the commission and agreement fees that i paid back + the remaining months on my rent? will the new tenant pay a fresh agreement/commission fee?

dont digress sir... SCOAN building collapse got nothing to do with this.
6" blocks are used from foundation to head level for bungalows.
solid 6" can also be used for storey building, but it must not be hollow. any renowned engr can attest to this. so the way u say using 6" block for foundation is wrong is specious...
u should be specific.
on top your illiteracy u are insane!!

The issue is that the information is all over the place and can be hidden easily by the builder posting his usual junk.

I control this thread and I will make sure that it stays bubbled up to the top. He can't hide under "not what this thread was intended for" grin

So we're still in 2011, let's stay here for a bit and let things percolate before we move forward. Trust me things didn't get better.

It's only in Nigeria that a #ShysterBuilder will still have the gals to show his face and give advice on builds when his devilish track record of ruining and/or almost ruining the dreams of others are so evident.

#KnowYourBuilder
the internet truely never forgets. 2020 and we still here lol. The guy's on other thread giving home advice and ppl actually take him seriously. Pitiful

It’s sad to read that six years later another homeowner is having similar issues.

Contract also given on the basis of a second chance.

Unfortunately... and Brabus will always claimed to be right. Once the money change hand, it is difficult to return in our society. I feel sorry for Somehow from the beginning... I just dont like to say " I told you so".

Note: I do not play with my money for "Second Chance" because I dont have any money to waste.

I know some of the elders here indirectly gave him thumbs down when I enquired but I know he won't go free from this without a severe scar if he doesn't refund me.

I told him on site that I'm a young man and young people don't forget or let things go easily. I can be a dove if I want to and I can be a beast if need be.

My work hasn't stopped because of the refund but I worked for that money and will get it whichever way possible.

I had to redo 2 lintels that he did anyhow.

The fins he previously casted fell, there and then did we discover there was no rebar used. Just sand, cement and granites.

He was made to redo those ones.

Wanted to build my security house without pillars, had to use unbudgeted money to make sure my PM put pillars there.

He also didn't do German floor for the SH, rather went ahead to erect walls without pillars/German floor.

There are other things not share yet which we have managed /currently managing and correcting. ( low budget electrical and plumbing pipes, low grade steel trusses).

The beginning was smooth and sweet until 97.5% of the funds got to him.

This is why I did not delete this thread. Everything is still here for research purposes.

I’m like you Sir, my money is too dear to me.

Trust is a big deal in Nigeria. People need to do what they promise to do

A NairaLander recently bought two plots from me, a few days apart. One survey came out swiftly and the other got hung up for a few weeks due to internal administrative issues not related to the survey. Walahi I couldn’t sleep well until the individual survey came out though I had the general survey all along.

This was N1M deal, so I don’t understand how someone can be paid N20M and still not get complete and total satisfaction. For me we’ll die on the matter o. I no dey cheat people so will never allow someone to cheat me.

Oga mi receipts dey plenty.

Artisans amongst us today in police handcuffs, behind police counter, drunk on job site, sub contractors not paid, duplex sinking, infidelities, collusion with family grin

I suggest in the past that Nollywood should create a show just based on Hajjis thread and name it “All Seun’s Children”.

We’ve seen a thing or two over the years.

A leopard never changes it's spots.

The cycle is simple:
1. show off bits and pieces of pics
2. Claim to have d best tools and machineries
3. Make sweet posts on the thread
4. Get a contract
5. Give d project a big fanciful name
7. Never ever completes the project without issues
8. Ends up fighting with the client
9. Always claims to be right and all knowing

And having made my money down to the #1 the legal way, I won't let a kobo get away.

I am just trying to remain civil for now and go the legal-official route till further notice.
