Lost an uncle the exact same way
It's called cardiomyopathy or broken heart syndrome.
My uncle passed just a year after his wife passed away, they were so so close.
They get so depressed that their heart just starts to give up.
There's no medical treatment for it, only psychiatrists treat this if spotted on time.
But it's usually hard to spot because the doctor would keep trying to find the cause of the heart failure thinking it's medical until the person passes away.

Besides, it's not in every case dat u do autopsy b4 u ascertain cause of death (jst like it's not until u get 2 d lab b4 u make diagnosis). U make a clinical assessment first, if necessary, u may request 4 autopsy (or lab investigation as d case may be)
