It's good people understand their responsibilities. When banks fail, government bail them out. That is how important these institutions are.

Analysis: How many staff are affected, how much money has been saved, has profits reduced to an abysmal level? Are these companies still reporting bogus profits?

Note: You could sack one director and save N20m yet sack 1000 staff and save N20m

Are the banks Govt owned?

They're reacting to the negative policies set by this Govt as every business has to.....

If the banks don't adjust to these Govt policies, will the FG bail them out when they start accumulating heavy losses and debts?

Its not the banks sacking people - its indirectly the govt and they must learn to take responsibility for their actions!

govt controls and direct economy. in 2008/2009 when some banks failed govt used public fund to bailed them out by creating AMCON which absolved all the bad loans.

so govt has a right to protect her citizens from exploitation and abuse of their right.

the economy is getting worsen and worsen,what bank will do is pls...don't sack your workers rather reduce their salaries and still accommodate them,pls and let all bank workers understand and do the need full and still do your duties prudentially.

Government bailed out banks in 2008 so if they need bail out now it's no big deal . Isn't it the laziness of those banks in the first place that make them depend so much on easy less risky money from government agencies instead of investing in real sectors of the economy and help drive the economy . How can banks go down because government took its money to the CBN ? To me that's an indictment on the so called bank because in the first place they have been doing CBN work by keeping government money in their vaults, real banks don't do that.
Look at comments here and you will wonder if many of the kid making those comments go to school at all. See how they decended in this thread spewing trash and feeling important , I don't blame you all PDP has programmed your brains to accept anomalies as normal and the quicker you reset those brains of yours the better for you all.
