El-rufai Donates Cash To Victim Stabbed For Not Fasting by Nobody: 7:42am On Jun 11, 2016
Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai yesterday presented an undisclosed amount to Francis Emmanuel Olokpo, 41, who was attacked and stabbed by Muslim youths for eating during fasting period.

el-Rufai who had visited the victim at St. Gerald Hospital Wednesday morning, was at the hospital for the second time to donate money to the family of the Victim’s family.
The governor who was represented by his Spokesman, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, said he was at the hospital to present an undisclosed token to the victim for his immediate family needs, being the bread winner of the family.

Aruwan who handed over the money to the elder brother of Francis, Paul Emmanuel Olopko said: “I am here on behalf of His Excellency, the governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai and the government over the unfortunate attack on Mr. Emmanuel Francis.”

“Government is deeply concerned about it and presently collaborating with the security agencies in trailing those responsible and to bring them to book as directed by the governor. “The Governor delegated me to present to your family a financial assistance in view of Emmanuel’s situation and the trauma it caused your family. The Kaduna State Government commends your family for not just your patience and zest for peace in our state but the country at large. We are earnestly praying for his recovery and working assiduously for peace and harmony in the state.

“I also want to reaffirm the Kaduna State Government’s commitment to the security of lives and properties of all citizens. Our doors are wide open for engagement with the citizens on whose behalf government is holding trust for.”

“ Citizens should alert security agencies of any breach instead of taking laws into their hands, government and security agencies would not spare any one found wanting,” he said.

With such insatiable attitude, it makes me believe you are not so different from the thugs that attacked the poor guy... If not, can't you read and at least commend the governor for taking a good step on this issue?
