hv u seen any student wearing that in any American public schools, despite their believe for human rights,

it is called school uniform no religious uniform

the authority sayed u must come with ur school uniforms not religious dressing

authorizing such in public places like schools will only bring more division in this country

Muslim kids avoiding Christian kids Christians doing d same, but with out those things they wear u can"t tell who is a Christian /Muslim

u will live or working together with a yeroba man for a long time without knowing that he is a Muslim because they don't go about bragging about religion , n this brings more unity because when u bragg i will Bragg too b4 u know what happening trouble don start be that

Hijab is just a normal part of Muslims dressing, at home, office, everywia they wear it. Why don't your fellow Christians do same?

I would still repeat my earlier stance that it's embarrassing, the way the church leadership in Osun has comported itself in the face of the prevailing circumstances there. It smirks off as a woman who had been embarrassed by a guy she had boasted to be her own, only for him to publicly declare his love to another lady.
The church's reaction is more of bitching, it's uncalled for.
I am a devout Christian.

You are right bro. But my question is Why merge a muslim school with a Christian school in the first place. Why not let them be as they are? You dont go to a Catholic school and expect a mosque to be built there. The governor is at fault

Their reaction may be uncalled for to you,but i think there is some sense in what they are doing.

My opinion sha

Still don't get the whole gist of this church robe thing o. Is it not a norm for muslim females to wear hijab? Why is it causing issues now? That's rebellion on the part of christians, I don't get what their cause is. Except I don't understand the whole issue sha. Nigeria is a joke right now.

Actually its not a problem. But see, this is a "Christian School', however taken over by the Govt some time ago, but the missions still support and maintain the school. Osun State Govt in its wisdom decided to merge some schools. There wasn't any problem with some schools, but this particular Baptist School accepted the merging but insisted students will not be allowed to wear hijab to the school. The muslim body protested and went to court and they won.
See it might no follow logic to insist on ""no hijab in 'Christian Schools", but religion is an emotional thing and very sensitive, the Government should have been more careful

Shut the fuuuck up, only what Islam and Muslims understand is fire for fire. The over tolerance of Nigerian Christians towards Muslim has turned them to zombies.

The only solution to this problem is this...

Separate these schools. Let them be as they are. Ansarudeen and Baptist can never have the same rules and regulations.

Some governors be acting like they never went to school sef

They should be in Uniform
The govt shouldn't have supported/ legalize the use of hijab in the school
The CAN should have sue the govt over that statement and not stooping so low in bring un -orderliness to the school by ordering the use of rope

above all
Aregebsola is a joke in that state

The governor combined Christians and Muslim schools together despite the resistance by the christitians. Now, he is allowing the Muslims to wear hijab, which was not allowed initially since the schools are now combined. The Muslims went to court asking that they should be allowed to wear hijab to differentiate them from Christians. Now the Christians are saying that since he doesn't want to separate the schools, let Christians also wear their church robes to schools

U allow Muslims to wear hijab to school and forget Christians have their own religious robs?

Hijab is a culture thing not a religious thing i'm ashamed for the Christians critiquing these students.Imposing of foreign culture over a people starts very subtly and they are fighting a fight of faith,Do you know what we practice in Nigeria ia moderate christianity and just like hijabs,if we follow the jewish path wear taj-like caps and all people would shout...Hijabs should be worn outside school, what role does it play during the school period?

I want to know the functionality of hijabs during school periods.I remember some 20years ago in Secondary school,my dear o-called loyal teachers became attached to some students hold special classes for this sect before exams and tutor them the questions that would come out,it spilled out later on and it raised dust. What am i trying to say if you distinguish yourself from a system of mixture you position yourself to gain undue favor from your species over the other guy which inturn becomes discrimination...If you think a Christian teacher won't favor a christian student or the muslim teacher won't favor the muslim student with time in this kind of structure then you're deceiving yourself.

Be a truth seeker speak the truth.

The Christian students are not saying ban hijabs in school, they're saying we like to wear our own religious/faith wears to honor our faith as well.

That's all

If you can wear a hijab, then I should wear a church robe. There's no difference between the two, they are both religious outfits. Your hijab is not more important than my church robe

Who ask you to wear the church robe? the church? The Bible? or the pastor?

Look at how someone is reasoning.. are they competing.... let them start doing wht all Muslims do?

Hijjab Wearing in Secondary Schools!

The judgement didn't lay any bad judicial precedent at all. What a Hijjab? How is being used?

If CAN in Osun dissatisfies with the judgement. Appeal it. The truth is that wearing Church robes, regalia etc to school is far way off school dress norm. From the pictures, even boys wear church robes. Does the issue concern boys? obviously NO.

The issue centres on Covering of Head by Muslim Female students, using the same color of their school uniform. A corresponding retaliation should have Christian Female Students to put on Scarf like Noun to school.

Oh so you can go to court to justify wearing of hijab and expect others to do same in the same court you are in control of by a muslim judge? A governor should encourage peace and not war. Go ahead and suspend them Mr confused Governor.

You think because you are a devout christian, your sh!tty opinion counts right?

Sh!tty christians who go about defending evil because it suits your shallow minds

Justice means fairness and universal application. If the courts says hijab is must be allowed on the basis of fundamental human rights to faith, logic dictates all other dress codes must be allowed in that same premise. You can shove your faux christian because you are full of crap

Aregbesola is a confused man with mental disorder.

I hate religious extremism, merging Missions Schools (Schools founded by Missionaries) with Government secular school, including boys only and girls only together is a grave error, that will be corrected one day.

The Osun State CAN is not against wearing Hijab, but putting it on in Mission schools like Baptist High School Iwo, Salvation Army school and other mission schools this they frowned against.

Hence, their resolve to implement their own fundamental human right of wearing choir robs, sultanas of different colours, etc. if the government of Osun cannot adopt a particular pattern of dressing in a secular state. This is quite unfortunate. embarassed

Conflicting court verdict within the same country. undecided

Attn: ogorwyne, I hope this explains it to you, since you dont understand.
