true. and  the worst time to be smoking is when it is in the zygotic stage, then u probally dont even know you're pregnant. *2nd hand smoke is horrible too*

I saw in class the lung of a smoker who smoked for 20 years, completely covered with tar.

Im not going to preach to you Ogidi, because you're smart, and I know how hard it is to quit, several of my best friends are smokers and they all cry the same thing. I never smoked a cigarette in my life, and dont plan to.

I remember when I tried to get my ex-bf to quit smoking, ( he would go through 2 packs a week) and I tried to get him to quit cold turkey, and the reactions he went through was terrifying.

He started getting the itches in the chest  *from what he described* and soon it was unbearable. He tried to hold out but soon he started demanding for his Jo's but I said no. So he waited, and then again the urges hit him and he started hitting stuff and punching the walls because the niccotine urges were killing him.

I couldnt bear to see him like that * i surprised he didnt knock the sh!t outta me* and I gave him back his cigarettes.

So I know how hard it is to quit.

But the best thing is to try to do it while ure young. Damage to your lungs can be irreverible.

ill admit im an idiot for trying smoking. although nothing happened after the first second and third puff. and after the one, two, three, four, 7 days. lolol

Thanks for your concern plat, I'm glad though that you know how hard it is for smokers to quit. I tried to quit ones and for reals after three hours without I was shaking all over.

Hopefully this smoking cessation class works out cause my smokes are getting tooo freaking expensive.

You know what's so sad? there was this time I had only 5 bucks to my name,and I was hungry as hell, I went out and got smokes instead of food.

Yeah, of course nothing happens. Ever heard of crack babies? Duh, the child surviving doesn't mean that 'nothing happens', they are likely to become addicts just like the mother.

Way too many ppl smoke in my school so I get the whole excuse that smoking isn't the only thing that kills, you could eat right and live a healthy life and still die young bla bla bla. But by smoking, your own destruction is guaranteed!!!   That's my take on it. Oh, and most ppl who quit smoking quit on their own after several failures on doing so and not thru therapy and the likes. Keep trying, you'll be able to quit completely soon. Thanks to psychology
