Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 2:05am On Sep 11, 2009 |
eldee: 2 things ended WWII 1. America coming in and breaking Japan with the atomic bomb 2. Germany's ill-fated decision to attack Russia. England was as good as conquered. True though, a Nazi Europe would have probably been a grave danger to America |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by eldee(m): 2:20am On Sep 11, 2009 |
davidylan:Of course the coalition forces destroyed Germany . . . England as good as conquered?? You need to see how good our rearguard was. The Germans wouldn't have known what hit them At the end of the day, Britain and her cousins are the only reason why I don't need to say Heil Hitler every morning. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 2:26am On Sep 11, 2009 |
eldee: Enough of this "coalition forces" shenanigan. Where were these "forces" when America chose to sit out the war and England was being blitzed by V2 bombers? You were too busy hiding in bomb shelters until America chose to come to your aid and Russia decided to confront the Germans too. Assisting America with a few troops here and there is not a "coalition force". |

wetin concern tennis with WWII? |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by eldee(m): 2:58am On Sep 11, 2009 |
davidylan: We were holding our own before the US came in . . . the only problem was that we had to battle a conquered Europe instead of just Germany And it's more than a few troops, did you think the US was going to launch her attack all the way from America?? We gave The Coalition our best men, weapons and military bases . . . If Hiltler had conquered us, he'd have owned two continents, and that's more than enough to launch a takeover bid for World power. You know us, by Churchhill, we'll never run from a battle. |

Exciting match between Ralph and Gonzo. Survival of the fittest. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 3:13am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Who's the ball boy that allowed a let just when Rafa was about to break? |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 3:15am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Lol he's a Gonzalez fan. He must have done that on purpose. Rafael did not look too happy about that one. That was a floating return he could have "killed". |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 3:17am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Didnt look too happy? He had Gonzo on the run already, just one or two more shots to put the game to bed. Gonzo is just wacking this forehand like his life depends on it. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 3:21am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Lord . . . The US cant even provide a covered stadium to guard against rain breaks? this is horrendous! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 3:23am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Great another rain delay. Hope the match is not suspended. I was gonna ask why a covered stadium was not used too. I mean, it's the U.S. of A, it's not like they can't afford it. Hopefully they don't get stiff just sitting there waiting. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Nobody: 3:30am On Sep 11, 2009 |
its not getting stiff . . . it can totally change the momentum of a game . . . Wimbledon 2007 readily comes to mind. But for the rain delay Federer would have lost that final to Nadal. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by chic2pimp(m): 3:42am On Sep 11, 2009 |
eldee:Nah mate. Dikee's hate goes much deeper than that. |

davidylan:If's and But's. . If I had beaten bill gates to the creation of Microsoft, I too woulda been a multi billionaire. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 3:47am On Sep 11, 2009 |
Yeah you're right. It's a natural game-changer/momentum-Player. But getting stiff is never a good thing, and it can happen if you sit out for too long. Does Sista Serena wear a bra. Gracious goodness those entangers. I can't even focus on the match. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by chic2pimp(m): 3:51am On Sep 11, 2009 |
C2H5OH:ROFLMAO. Thats a lesson I learnt a long time ago. Serena's bootaayyyy and melons are a big distraction. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by dayokanu(m): 4:07am On Sep 11, 2009 |

Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by sirwebs(m): 1:36pm On Sep 11, 2009 |
Lonely Island? Hitler was envious of "The empire where the sun never sets," and thus tried to set up his Reich. And fell flat on his face. The fuhrer was a loser. He couldn't even paint. |
