Just wondering.

When your clients request a CMS along with their website, which one do you use? Do you develop a custom CMS? Use opensource? Generally, how do you go about it? smiley

Well; i love wordpress than any other CSM engine. (Maybe cause I'm use to it).

But, don't hardcode another CSM just because your client wants easy management. Unless, you want to create a product that you use on all your clients and also provide updates and plugins like WP, Joomla, Drupal etc

Use WP; from my side. You can also use Joomla, its fabulous too.

But, it you want to hardcode; then take your time, do it good.

I currently do custom

but i am thinking of been proficient in joomla. i wont use it until the projcect is very COMPLEX. cos using joomla for a normal company's CMS is overkill (IMHO)
