Now he said if i insist on investigations now i should go for pelvic uss and ovulation profile but that he would advise me to just relax and let things happen. I went to the lab to make enquires for the test and the price made me take to my heels. Ok so i guess i'll stay put and keep looking unto God. Someone was asking about b6 and i heard it helps with progesterone whn do i start taking it? After ovulation right? Abeg i knw my wahala is plenty but biko na as e dey for my mind i dey type o. Meanwhile the doctor said he will disregard the progesterone lab result cos it was done on cd2. How true is dat? HELP PLS!!!!!

@breadplanets, progesterone should be done on day 21 as to know if you ovulated. Ur doctor is right to disregard the one u did

Pweetymii, u get it, same here. DH taking drugs is not easy o. U pet, promise, cook favourite meal, Lol. same reason I ordered for the powder fertilsan too. But the company was short of supply and could not ship on time, they just shipped mine today through DHL, expecting in 5 days. I guess you did not order from Amitamin site. At CD2, your progesterone is supposed to be low about <1.5. The Progesterone levels used for checking Ovulation and support for Pregnancy is 7dpo if you know when Ovulation happened or CD21. God bless.

@breadplanets,d first doctor i met almost did the same tin to me,infact,he xcused himself for me to c the owner of d hospital who is a gynea...The gynea advised me to stay until 1 year but if im in haste i shd chk bk if i dont get my bfp b4 june.i started praying and took the courage to start takin pregnacare conception in march,dat same month,i got my bfp.if all tests n scan shows notin is wrong,try a fertility booster...baby dust

@all complaining about d. h refusal to take drugs or go for tests av u forgotten that they are our first born? hmm, na one rope naim tie most ttc men concerning drug usage. In my own case, i am using cunning man die, cunning man bury am method. Sometimes, i beg,i quarrel i remind or i just bone. wen i bone him and not remind him, i wud see him taking it by himself without reminder.
Minwile, i got delivery of f. e. rtilsan yesterday, he likes drinks, so,i ordered for the powdered form, cos, if i had bought the tabs he would complain and complain of how he has to take a whole 3,and i have to explain why he should take 3,and then, since it is 3,i av to get ready to make swallow so he can take it.. that is why wen i saw the option of powder, i jumped at it.so,desperate times requires desperate measures,u know ur hubby, just know how to tune him.Sometimes,wen he takes them, i even say "thank you"..
as per sfa, after the do one time, i psyched him, i was like this kini is looking so different and think there is an improvement from the drugs u are taking, he agreed and started saying we should run another test to know how far.. na so me dey do am and i know Baba God will pick mine and everyone's call soon.

It's in blackcurrant flavor. on the pack it is written that it's sweetened but it just taste ordinary and you have to stir until it's totally dissolved. On a lighter note, u go return am if u not like the taste?

So I'm given clomid and folic acid i guess to take for 5days and after den i shud come bak for tracking.
My question now is shuld clomid be taken during AF?frm wat i read here i tink its afta AF dey normaly take it.
Can i take it with oda supplement I'm currently on cos dis is my first time of taking dis drug.
Sorry for d long questions.

My story so far;
I did all the necessary tests. On cycle day 2 I did blood work.everything came out ok. On cycle day 3 I did ultrasound scan.

They checked uterus and ovaries and everything looked fine. No cysts no fibroid. The RE(reproductive endocrinologist) was happy.

Bear in mind that I did HSG last October( we started trying in October).

The doctor said everything looks normal and I should have no issues concieving. She also explained to us that every healthy couple has a 20 percent chance every cycle.

She said if we want things to be faster, we can do a natural iui. So now I'm scheduled for a natural Around cycle day 14. They will do a follicle dtracking. I have to go everyday to the doctor from cycle day 12. Once they see the are mature follicles they will give me a trigger shot and I'll do the iui next day.

Husband sperm also came out very good. The frustration with this thing is that you cannot control anything.

Please has anyone done iui before?

clomid is taking during cycle dat is day 2-day 5 or 7 nt after cycle.it will end after ur cycle or wit ur cycle.hope dis help

Yes clomid is taken during af, from cd2-6 or cd3-7. I don't think it will interfere wit oda supplements or vise versa but u shud mention d supplements so mamas can knw how beta 2 advice u based on experience or research.

Clomid is taken during AF for 5 days usually 2-6, 3-7, 5-9. More Eggs are said to be produced if taken 2-6 & 3-7 while 5-9 produces 1 or 2 eggs but with a greater quality. Some Drs prescribe the tablets to be taking Morn and Night while some prescribe it to be taken at once. Whichever prescription you get, ensure you take at the same time each day. Some Drs also do extended dosage where they've tried and the patient didn't respond well to the drugs in a previous cycle. Clomid doesn't mix with Maca so if you're on Maca then please stop the Maca. Get Preseed, it helps with dry Veejay that can come with a Clomid cycle. I wish you a bfp this cycle. Take care.

Good morning mamas,just remembered something for those who feel ovulation pain.Last 3 months in an unmedicated cycle, the doc asked me to come for follicle tracking on day11 and I had ovulation pain that day but the egg had traveled already. He said I probably ovulated early.He said the pain is caused from the little fluid in POD as a result of ovulation.

Fast forward to the next month in a clomid cycle.Follicle tracking on day 12 and 14. Hcg on day 14 n I felt the pains on day 15.

Long Tory short is just for those who ask when ovulation occurs:before,during or after the pain.BD regularly.

Hello fruitful mama's, abeg make una comment on this ma matter. I am 3 weeks post myomectomy (surgery for fibroid). For now I am not ttc till the next 3-4months.
What else can I do to increase my chances of conceiving when I am ready to ttc again? Are there any test I should do within these 3months? My gynae said I should not gbensh with DH till 3months post op' but DH is saying he is ready to wait 4months cos he has seen the pains I went thru after the surgery.
