I dont think so, wanted to point it out from Shiloh's post, I may be wrong though. To the best of my knowledge its only HSG that can detect the condition of the tubes.

Olori/belolved is right, some people claim B6 lengthens their luteal phase, personally l think it does that if you have luteal phase defect, but if your luteal phase is ok, it doesnt alter it from personal experience though. I used it to lower high prolactin, it did just that without altering my already correct luteal phase, i will even say it shorten my follicular phase which was way too long! but dont take more than 50 m.g per day since its otc.

Mrs.Kemo has done justice to ur vitex question. Its a great herp, l recommend it anytime any day, if you have hormonal imbalance. But dont abuse it, intially it caused me swellings and itching skin, with consistent use, it stoped.

just read ur hsg post. For me that result is not conclusive, one cannot really say whats happening, there may be little problem down there, but definately not a complete blocked tubes.

Good evening all the wonderful ladies on this thread. I have been lurking for a looong while. Have now decided to come out into the open. I really marvel at the support and encouragement. I am about to resume my ttc journey....we put it on hold for like 2 years because it seemed we were not getting anywhere. If you can take the pain, l strongly advice tghe flushing too. I had once be diagonised with insignificant fibriod, got it cleared with herbs, the herb worked for me because it was just seedling, it didnt work for my friend whose fibroid was already matured, she later went for surgery.

Someone told me she used cleanshield to shrink her fibroid, and another friend who is now pregnant swear the same cleanshield did the magic for her, cuz she hard stomach problem for years, with cleanshield she got her healing and got pregnant too.

It balances the PH level in the body, for those with BV, you can read more about this drug abi na drink.
I never use am ooo and not recommending it, but there are alots of success story on it online.

when they are injecing the dye,there may cause tubal spasm and may be misinterpreted as tubal occlusion especially at the front/top of the tubes.

Shiloh,I have been reading and researching for you,here's what i saw

HSG is done by passing a dye into the uterus. If the dye spills inside the fallopian tubes, the x-ray will show what is called free spillage meaning that the fallopian tubes is open. The spill could be loculated, which means that it collects in small puddles of dye. This indicates possible presence of peritubal adhesions on the outside of the fallopian tubes caused by scar tissue build up.

What's an adhesion?
Think of an adhesion as a sheet of scar tissue. If you shaved off the skin over the tips of your two index fingers and held your fingers together long enough an adhesion would grow between them to join them. So it is when the organs in the abdomen and pelvis lose their single-cell-thick lining and continue to lie close together; they become joined by an adhesion. The same can happen when scarring of the tube follows surgical operations in the pelvis for other conditions, resulting in 'postsurgical' adhesions.


Peritubal adhesions are usually formed as a result of inflammation from PID,abdominal/pelvic surgery.inflammation of tissues around the fallopian tube may occur, which can lead to formation of adhesions. Inflammation can also reach the tube from its outside -- by the spread, for example, of inflammation from a neighboring organ such as the appendix. When this happens, most of the damage is on the outside, often sparing the delicate structure of the inside of the tube.

When the tube and ovary become separated by new tissue -- it is referred to as peritubal adhesions.These adhesions disturb the delicate anatomic relationship between the tube and ovary,interfering with normal ovulation or preventing normal capture and transport of the ovum.


In other cases, the tube itself is spared from harm and the peritubal adhesion, by enveloping tubes and ovaries, prevents egg pick-up by the fimbrial end of the tube.In both these situations the damage is mainly external and microsurgery can then be particularly helpful.

In essence this adhesions could make sp erm motility and transport of the egg difficult NOT IMPOSSIBLE

It is possible to have patent tubes with an adhesion,here the adhesion is on the outside.
I don't know if they offer such surgeries in naija cos it requires a specialist, the risk of even more adhesions after surgery are still there.
.It is best to go with the advise of your gyne pertaining treatment and steps to follow to achieve pregnancy.I understand why the first gyne didn't bother to suggest flushing.The flushing won't change anything,as the hsg shows the insides of your tubes are very fine.It's now what to do about the scarring that should follow.
They may advise IVF for more speedy results as natural conception time would be longer or chances lower than the average depending on the extent of the damage.
It depends on you really and what approach you want?You could get pregnant naturally still it's just that it could take longer.

This is medically speaking oo as God is the architect of our bodies and there is NOTHING he cannot do.

One thing i would like to ask you to do is relax...then discuss with your gyne.Ask him about percentages and what his advise to you would be and then have a discussion with your DH.You both have to be united on a way forward.
You can get pregnant without IVF but you must exercise patience and have serious faith as mush as you can muster.Even with IVF,it is only God that can give success.Many have been on the waiting list for ivf and suddenly belle fill ground.What do you want?Speak it,say it,write it and paste it,keep repeating it till it fills your mind and heart.

i have heard of a woman whose womb was removed due to several abortions, she later got born again and gave birth to twins. can you compare this with your case? NAY.
