Truthfully, d TTC journey is not an easy one...especially the emotional trauma it takes on us. My journey started officially on March '16, I get my period clockwise 28/29 days, I ovulate (confirmed with temping and OPK) BUT I'm not pregnant . I have gone for scan, no fibroid, no cyst, Infact it came out clean. DH has checked his Semen too, and it's PERFECT!

My doc keep telling me to hang in there; but out of impatient I became my personal fertility specialist , based on my findings I thought I might have a silent PCOS, I started taking metformin (1000mg) for two months now, I added 50mg of Clomid last month plus my prenatal vit... but AF showed up again .

At this juncture, I just don't know what to do again.... God shld have mercy on me, forgive all my past sins and make me a mother soon. I'm thinking of buying supplements for tubes instead of doing HSG first, inorder to cut cost. No job! No pregnancy!! This is just too much for me!!!!!!!

av u tried pregnacare conception, if u avnt, try it and don't take clomid again

first of all, take a deep breath and calm down.
try a teaching hospital and work with a gynea obstetrics. self consulting on ur own might not do the trick. if ur dr says do hsg mayb u can try and save up biy by bit instead of buying suplemnts for tubes. what if nothing is wrong with ur tubes in d first place. continue with the metformin, pls leave clomid alone first, work on ur weight and diet if possible. above alll try and have a calm mind. God works miracles wen we least expect. lastly u cud take up a small teaching job or go learn a skill to keep u consumed from ttc thoughts. huggss dear

If you have not tcc for a year, your doc might not want to recommend HSG yet. More invasive tests are usually ordered after then. If your journey started this year, you still need to relax cos this journey requires a whole lot of patienceeeeeeee. I would suggest you stop taking clomid, continue with the prenatals and cleanse your system with lots of good fruits, food and water.

Continue to track your ovulation and bd on alternate days.

I have put aside clomid sis! And other drugs except d folic acid. I pray God will give me the grace to be patient while he work...

Please I need your advice. Been battling with irregular/ceased menses for a while and I am TTC. Sometimes it come once in 1 year. Most time if it would come i have to use primolut N etc. I'd done series of test from Hormonal assay to thyroid,hsg, etc just to be sure what the issue is. The result are conflicting. High LH, sometimes High FSH. I'm sure they are even confused cos they keep referring me to do series of test and I am tired. I'd seen different gyno...keep spending more than my income just to have a regular menses. Some1 recommend combination3. But am afraid she just said keep using it everyday till the menses regularises... Pls advice what can I do...I am so.worried...hubby is panicking... Hi, sorry am responding late, I did the HSG at Mecure in Lekki, Lagos. And the flushing at a small private hospital around where I stay. I could not do the flushing this cycle because it was close to ovulation.

u cud try fertile tea n other chinese herbs around. .. or go visit the local agbo woman,

@blessedmumi , march 2016 is still too early to get worried, 1yr is the usual time frame b4 docs take you serious.
if u wanna take tube ope ning drug, serrapeptase is a good candidate, its an enzyme and treats other issues apart from opening tubes, so i wud thing 1 or 2 tabs of 120,000spu daily for 1 or 2 months isnt a ba idea,
you may also add guifei bao to it. try to use 2 times b4 ovulation.

Thanks @RipVanWink; I read about doz two medications on this thread. I think I will stay off any form of medication for dis month. If nothing happens, by next month I will plan on what next to do. Baby dust to us all...

Irregular/ceased menses can be as a result of the following : hormonal inbalance ( high prolactin causes ceased/ irregular period) have u checked your prolactin level? Also, PCOS, ovarian cyst and asherman can cause same. Visit a good gynae and do appropriate tests to know where the problem is coming from. Take care

from your explanation, the culprit is hormonal imbalance.
you can use the following to tackle it
1. 1or 2 packs of sanging oral , for detoxification
2. 3 bottles of Ares capsules
3. a pack of guifei bao
4. 2 packs of sanbao oral

@Janix2 Thank you and Yes No infection. The Anxiety part I just kind of starting to fret cos DH is panicking besides I am 36 and we are ttc.

Thank you @Suremum...Please can u or any member recommend one? Pls DM.A good and not expensive Gyno in Lagos Nigeria. That has a listening ear and passionate about result than money. Yes the Hormonal assay i did,the issue was between FSH &LH. Seriously I'd tried and most times the few gyno i saw places me on contraceptive pills which doesn't really do much. Because whenever I stop using them the the menses too stops.Sighhhhhhh . HELP! HELP!!HELP!!!

I think u should try vitex. That is what has helped me. Same thing use to happen to me before, but since last year Oct dat I started taking vitex, my menses is regular now 30 31 days. If u are on d fat side, try and loose weight. Hmmmmmm, I spent so much visiting diff gyne, but all was in vain. Just try d vitex. Fertility dust to everyone.
