Af came again yesterday , cried this time around, don't know why.. Dh consoled me even till this morning before he left for work, He told me God makes everything beautiful in His time. Watched Emmanuel tv(station i don't watch)dis morning n saw a couple who tried for 14 before God miraculously answered them, their words of encouragement was the same hubby told me this morning "God makes everything beautiful in His own time", Surely He will. Still in sad mood tho,but i know God's time for me is now, dis year shall not pass me by... #2017mum 7 Likes |

Adiahaakwaibom1:thank you ma'am... About the bitterleaf, stop on cd 10 because it makes you ovulate quickly, i don't think it is good to use during ovulation and after 1 Like |
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by lavivaavril(f): 1:11pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Adiahaakwaibom1: You should stop at CD 10 cos it's only required to make you develop healthy plum eggs and ovulate quickly plus it's not suitable for ovulating/pregnant women. Taking bitter leaf while pregnant can cause a miscarriage. I've even heard of heavy women using it to induce labour. @orney it is well with you! Having been there myself I can understand how heart breaking af makes one feel. Your tears would be turned to joy in no time! 3 Likes 1 Share |

My meds this month would be clomid 100mg cd2-6, then hcg trigger shot on cd12 then start progesterone on at 3dpo (3days post ovulation). I would be using the progesterone just as a precautionary measure since clomid thins the uterine linning and with pcos...my body does not produce enough progesterone on its own!!!
For this cycle I was also on clomid 100mg cd 3-7, then i had my tubes flushed on day 8, then a trigger shot on day 11. I spotted faintly on day 12 and my doctor said that could have been ovulation spotting. i guess i may have to suggest to my doctor to give progesterone... cause i was once diagnozed of pcos. What do you think? Has any mama in the house experienced ovulation spotting? This was my first time of experiencing it and i am kind of disturbed. |

favouredi: Pls read the link below concerning ovulation spotting http://www.whattoexpect.com/blogs/babiesonthebraintoddlerontheloose/bleeding-during-ovulation-is-normal |
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Nobody: 7:46pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Ovulation spotting is normal, the spotting could also be from the tube flushing. Did u do an ultrasound to check follicle maturation before trigger shot? If you've been diagnosed with pcos then suggest to ur doctor to run a cd21 progesterone test. The level will determine if u need progesterone after O. Tho most doctors give that to pcos patients since pcos is known to cause hormone fluctuations. I wish u al the best and baby dust. favouredi: 1 Like 1 Share |

favouredi: HMMM, i hope u did tvs b4 the trigger?, my own case my cycle is usually 28/29 days, took clomid 50mg cd3 to cd7,, cd 10, biggest follicle was 13mm&12mm on right ovary 10mm on left, uterine lining 12mm, so if i took trigger shot on cd 12, it would hv been a bad idea. funny thing is since i didnt notice anysign of ovulation like i usually do, my dh insisted on another tvs on cd 19, this time only 1 dominant follicle was seen 20.5mm, uterine lining 19mm!!! small seedling follies 14 and 16 respectively were seen on both ovaries [is this is sign of pcos?], decided not 2 trigger again, cos the whole thing confused me, still tried to bd, but dh is tired n even me is too, bding for 11days now, though not every day o. am wondering what is happening, only thing i did extra was i was taking lemon and grape at least once a day. has anyone experienced something like this, its like a case of disappearing follicles |
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Nobody: 8:24pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
The mistake was urs/ur doctors. U do not consider a follicle mature till it's about 18mm. Wit clomid, I do not trigger till the follicle gets to 24mm at least. So next time, wait till u follicle reaches at least 20mm before u trigger. I do not think u have pcos, those small follicles are the redundant ones (the 20.5mm follicle dominated them and caused them to regress). Pcos shows "numerous" immeasurable follicles. Btw, u do not need to bd on daily basis, every other day is better to allow the swimmers time to "refresh". How long have u been ttc? Any diagnosis? Baby dust to u mama Quote author=mommatriplets post=51123745] HMMM, i hope u did tvs b4 the trigger?, my own case my cycle is usually 28/29 days, took clomid 50mg cd3 to cd7,, cd 10, biggest follicle was 13mm&12mm on right ovary 10mm on left, so if i took trigger shot on cd 12, it would hv been a bad idea. funny thing is since i didnt notice anysign of ovulation like i usually do, my dh insisted on another tvs on cd 19, this time only 1 dominant follicle was seen 20.5mm, small seedling follies 14 and 16 respectively were seen on both ovaries [is this is sign of pcos?], decided not 2 trigger again, cos the whole thing confused me, still tried to bd, but dh is tired n even me is too, bding for 11days now, though not every day o. am wondering what is happening, only thing i did extra was i was taking lemon and grape at least once a day. has anyone experienced something like this, its like a case of disappearing follicles
1 Like 1 Share |

@Stephaniecoa my issue is unexplained infertility, ttc 4yrs+.....though i think my issue may be too thick uterine lining/implantation issues and or hostile cervical cm i didnt trigger again yeah we bd well during my usual ovu window cd 14 to cd 16, but dialed down to every other day afterwards, dh and i are not in the same city so part of the complication, dont feel like doing another tvs again after the one on cd 19, this monday, and dh would be going back to his base on saturday, will try n bd btw now b4 he leaves, |

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Nobody: 8:44pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Ok do u know the exact thickness of your uterine lining? How many mm? Clomid gives very hostile cm so u can use a fertility lubricant called "preseed". Alternatively drink enough cranberry juice, but preseed is the best IMO. Have u heard of softcup? Have they tested your dh? Just so u be sure what you're dealing with. mommatriplets: 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by mommatriplets: 9:09pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Stephaniecoa: my uterine thickness is in my original post 12mm on cd 10, 19mm on cd 19.... dh has done 2 sfa over the years, fairly ok, not superb, taken the fertil aid combo for 3months, and is on the fetilsan m for 4months + now. hv used preseed in the past, though hv gone from hsg reports of 1 blocked tube, to bilateral blockage, but the last report is both tubes patent.will try to get hom do another sfa, though i wonder to what end, since he has been on fertilsan m, honey n garlic etc, eats lots of water melon, hausa nuts etc...unlike me that likes flours and soft drinks |
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Nobody: 9:21pm On Nov 17, 2016 |
Is your ob/gyn aware of ur uterine thickness? U need to speak to him so he can give u something to thin it out. There're lots of options including medroxyprogesterone or BCPs. But that should be a decision between u and ur OB. My dh's SA came out ok except for morphology which was at 10%, he was placed on Rovigm and 30 days later, his morphology went from 10% to 55%! What I'm saying is that sometimes u don't need all these big money drugs to get things moving, all u need is a good doctor. With God on ur side, everything will be made perfect...just a matter of time. mommatriplets: 3 Likes 1 Share |
