Hello my people. I'm new to this site and when i came across this and read stories that people write i think i'm a bit relived and just again have hope that i'll get pregnant one day. My name is temitope, i got married in 2007 and since then i have not even get pregnant for ones. When i read about people having miscarriages i used to say to my self that if only i could be pregnant for once and just loose it after some months. After a year of my marriage and noting happened i started seen a dr that did a lot of test for me (HSG (which was very painful) pelvic examination, hormonal assay and many other scan). My husband was not going with me for the test Because according to him he is okay because he has a daughter from his late wife. After all the test my dr insist that i must come with my husband if i want him to continue with me. I pleaded with my husband and he agreed to go with me. After doing his semen analysis and culture, the dr told us that only 10% of his sperm was active 70 dead and 20% sluggish. He started treatment and and asked him to repeat the test after 3 month. After the test the result came out that 70% was okay. It's almost going to 2 years now after the test and noting has happened. I'm really confused right now. I got married early because i so much like children. Is there anything i can do because i cant just stop thinking about it.

@Tem01, welcome to the house.

I feel your pain and understand what it feels like.
Here are my words:

1. Trust solely in God (150%)
2. Get a good doctor. If you have the financial capability go for the best. It's usually worth it.
3. Learn from others experience.
4. Dont be anxious
5. Baby dance in a less tense environment( u know what am talking about), it worked for me.
6. Eat well and use some multivitamins.

They are not rules my dear, but it worked wonders

Feel free to pour out your mind cos we are one big family.

Lots of love.

@itiade thank you so much my sister for your advise. I so much appreciate it and i will do as you have said. Please let me ask you, do you think dead spermatozoa can come alive again? Please i will really like to learn from you people who have gone through and overcome this infertility.

Welcome Tem01,
There are a lot of  information in this thread and some useful web links already posted.

Take you time and read through every post and you would find a lot of the answers to your questions.

To answer your question : dead spermatozoa cannot come alive.

A man is continously producing new spermatozoa every day and most spermatozoa only live for a few days before they die and are replenished with new spermatozoa.

God bless you and I pray that he grants your wish to bear children very soon.

Hi TTC members
I resumed work dis week after my maternity leave.
Thanx for all ur support and prayers;
The baby doing very well now
when she was just six weeks old, she came down with
malaria. my dears it was not easy, i still thank God till date for the timely
intervention. On dat faithful day i went out to buy some things since we had to travel (my mother, the baby and i)
when i got she had just gotten up from sleep and my mother was about to feed her with formula. She finished it and just about 3 minutes later she vomited evrything. I took her from my mother and laid her on my tummy and she continued sleeping. About an hour later i started feeling her body slightly warm. when i complained to my mother she said i should check her temperature anally which i did and behold she was at 39.4 degrees and later 40 degrees. we rushed to the hospital and she was admitted for 4 days with lots of drip sets giving to her. I cried my eyes out.
Thank God she is fine now and very active but imagine how i feel leaving her back home for 9 hours. I just pray God who gave her to me would take care of her as she grows.

I will be very happy and available to answer all pregnancy related and baby care questions

More goodnews would be coming this year, remember i said this year is our year just keep believing in God

Hello house
How are you all doing? I am slacking big time i am even lost on the threads i need time to read every single message since thread 25!!
I am feeling fine in Jesus name, i am exhausted and i find it difficult to move around. I was told my baby is dropping so he is already head down and it is making it really uncomfortable for me.
Most days i am just in bed laying down , i know it is not good for me but i don't want to drive around and start parking my car at any corner so i can rest and not feel dizzy i have done this many times now , and it scares my husband.

I have started counting the days please you all put me in your prayers ,that all will go well.
@ Stages such great news see how time flies happy your baby girl is doing ok now.
@ Abiop how are you and the Mrs doing?
@ sammieejo i am here oh not just checking in due to laziness on my part.

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Ejadamen(f): 3:38pm On Nov 02, 2010
Hi Arly,it is well. You will deliver safe and sound and you and your baby will be in good health,in Jesus name. Congrats in advance, didn't know you were that far along already tongue

MyPeace where are you?

Sammiejo,thanks.

I am doing well, just tired and sleepy most times. Baby has been kicking gently but I am a bit worried as the frequency and intensity of the kicks have reduced since weekend. Baby kicks just not as hard and frequent as before. I believe all is well.

Also please can anyone tell me the most effective OPK kit and how it works?
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by labella12: 8:15am On Nov 03, 2010
hi all,
our monday update died a natural death please can we all try to revive it.
@ Arly good to hear that all is well keep resting seems like u are far along wow time really flies.
@ ejadamen how are u sure the baby is kicking as usual now OPK's detect LH Surge/Peak which occurs about 24 to 36 hours before ovulation so it is used as an indication that ovulation is around the corner just like the egg white cervical mucus i prefer the clearblue digital ovulation test kit becos those lines can be a bit confusing you keep wondering if it is lighter than the control line which will be negative it has to be the same colour or darker than the control line to indicate your LH surge
@my peace how are you doing we need to hear from you oh the Lord is your strength
@stages thank God your baby is fine now
@frany1980 please go to a good hosp you can go to LASUTHor LUTH where they will do test to confirm and then give u medication (antibiotics)

DOCTOR 7 this thread is not for you u seem to have a cure for everything mshew

@all as for me still ttcing but have decided to take out this fibroid so i am in the process of picking the method of choice to remove it cos i dont want open surgery will keep u posted

Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by pslm23(f): 6:43pm On Nov 08, 2010
Last month, my doctor put me on 50mg clomid, 2.5mg bromocryptine (half a pill @ bedtime) and prenatal plus pills. embarassed I use my OPK (the saliva one) faithfully and I also joined WebMd and they created my own personalized ovulation calender based on my cycle for the past 6 months. I have used a lot of these calendars from other sites but WebMd was the most accurate one.
I'm now in the 2 week wait period and I pray to God that I will have cause to smile and have a joyous Thanksgiving Day on Nov. 25. grin

after pregnancy my womanliness became loosen, i have came to know from my friends about the herbal therapy for feeling re-virgin in 3 days course. i have got their site detail which was www.virgintherapy.com

i want to know whether it will effective. Kindly let us know if any one has gone through that.
As it says there is no side effect. No. Surgery. No Oral Pills.

Just 3 days herbal course and then you will feel re-virgin again, and can obtain the pleasure.
Also its help M.C. to be in balance.

Regards.

This is not the thread for touting your products or promoting your website.

You have 23 post and you mention the same website in all of them.

Thanks jare cos the websites were not helping. One more question, please. This PREDICT,how does it work?
Re: Trying To Conceive A Child? TTC by Aladunni(f): 4:55pm On Nov 10, 2010
Actually all the instructions are well defined in it, but its just like the usual hpt procedure you do with first urine but this one is urine taken within the period of 10am to 8pm whichever time is convenient for the user. Another thing is dis no water/liquid intake, 2 hours before test to get a full concentrate. Anyways eja, tell the person to read the instructions wella, take care
