Those done so far is prolactin cos I had milky discharge from my both nipple which has now been normalized my doc tok my blood sample to check for infection and counting of my eggs as she said and high virgina swab which is okay and has also improved from the previous test, I did a trans vigina scan which shows poly cystic ovaries in my right ovary.


Pls is there any way one can know if one has a blocked tube without doing the hsg tin cos am afraid of the pain.

The doctor I use now asked me to try this month if no bfp she will place me on clomid.

Please mummies in the house what is this doctor not doing right so that I will know what to do cos I learnt one should not just use clomid cos it can only be used for only three times in ones entire life.

i have been TTC for 16 months and there had been no result yet. my huband and I have gone for check ups. the check started with me with hormonal profile test and thus is the result:

with the above result i was placed on clomid for five (5) days and to get a perfect result i was adviced by a laboratory personnel (where the hormonal profile was carried out) to go for HSG which i did. while waiting for the result, i took the above result to a gyn who interpreted it to me that i am not ovulating as so prescribed clomid. below is the result of the HSG:

1. the urine cavity is enlarged and of irregular outline.
2. the fallopian tubes are demonstrated and of normal calibre giving free peritoneal spill bilaterally.
3. Note the extravasation of contrast.

i am not very boyant to keep on my visit with a GYN and so i trust God that all is well.

My husband had his sperm examined and it came out low. 5million seen, 98% dead 2% active, morphology 100% culture; no bacteral seen. he was placed on drug (manix and jobelyn).

i read a testimony about proviron and we replaced jobelyn with proviron. right now he is on manix and proviron.

please your advise will be welcomed from anyone who has similar issue(s) or has an idea on how to go about all this.

your LH and FSH ration is too wide. I expect your gynea to consider you as a candidate for PCOS, you may need more than clomid, pls read/discuss more with your doc on PCOS.

One of my distant aunties has been married for 11 years without a child. last two months she got my number and called to ask how am cobing with ttc. She and her dh stays at Lagos and she left to Kaduna without telling anybody her where about. she had to change her job and phone no to avoid being begged by dh people.

No, high or low prolactin has nothing to do with PCOS, though it causes annovulatory cycle like PCOS. its a function of LH & FSH ratio. Some others manifests with numerous small follicles on the ovaries or testing positive to diabetes test.

So PCOS can be diagnosed by doing hormonal test, scan or Oral Glucose tolerance test.

I read about some ladies who had hight LH & FSH ratio and got it corrected by diet change. Going natural is the best way to balance our hormone. There are many info online on this.

when my homone went haywire after surgery, i used series of drugs, mostly multi-maca, after 3months and no difference, i decided not to buy those drugs again. started using vitamins supplements. stopped sugar and white bread totally, no sweet/chocolates/candies and even chewing gum. i wasnt a water fan b4 but now, i drink water a lot and these have greatly helped.

I think you should make her see reality and let her go back to her DH and together they find a solution. Even if her DH is permanently sterile, if she truly loves or ever loved him, she'll suggest adoption or sperm donor. They can still be happy together.
