@all abeg make una help me answer this question. they thing dey worry me no be small. I use to wash my vj with water while bathing but I stopped when I read here that washing vj with water is not too good for ttc. these days I always have my pants stained each day with brown sustances. I have done tvs, no wahala, taken antibiotics yet no show. If I put my finger in my vj, I will bring out alot of whitish subtances. I no understand watin be this. Has this happened to anyone before, if yes pls what did u do.

Sorry i tot everyone knew av been battling with a submucous fibroid that makes me bleed terribly each month, as a matter of fact av been bleeding for more than a month now.i did a pap smear test and the dr said it was a cervical fibroid , i told him it was submucousal,he now said i shld go to echo scan a do a scan if its submucousal they'll know what to do but if cervical which he is sure it is then it'll be hysterectomy.
Anyway my aunty told me of a dr in Jos, dr Mutihir or so i'll be making an appt to go see him soon.
Those of u in Jos have u heard of him?

@Pink: I believe there are natural ways of curing fibrods. Please pray to God for direction. He can lead you to a specialist in this area. This is the time to set aside at least an hour a day talking to God on this issue until you get results. Remember, He is a Rewarder of they that diligently seek Him.

@pinky, hope you reside in abuja. my sister inlaw had a similar/excert case with yours. The multiple fibroid was inside her womb and all drs visited gave her the same opinion of removing her womb. Every month she will be transfused with blood due to excess bleeding. Until recently she was refared to Gwagwalada Teaching hospital, where the operation was done successfuly with team of drs without the womb removed.

@pinky, pls get a second opinion. Go to a teaching hospital. Women with fibroids don't have to remove womb, haba, when it is not aggressive cancer. Surgery should be able to remove the fibroids. It is done everyday. If the fibroid is too big and Dr is scared of blood loss, there are meds that are taken to shrink it to a more operable size. Fibroids feed on estrogen, the meds starve the fibroids and they shrink.
A very big fibroid might not shrink completely or take a long time then surgery comes into play.
I have seen huge fibroids been removed. The people that remove womb cos of fibroid are those that are done having kids. Does your Dr understand that you are trying to conceive? I say understand cos knowing is different from understanding.

Don't fear, a lot of women with fibroid give birth everyday. I like your faith.

Do you look pregnant(is ur tummy big)? Cos I'm assuming for ur Dr to want to remove womb cos of fibroid, then it is a big one or numerous ones
