Source ISRO press release

Chandrayaan-2, Ind.... second lunar mission, has three modules namely Orbiter, Lander (Vikram) & Rover (Pragyan).

The Orbiter and Lander modules will be interfaced mechanically and stacked together as an integrated module and accommodated inside the GSLV MK-III launch vehicle.

The Rover is housed inside the Lander. After launch into earth bound orbit by GSLV MK-III, the integrated module will reach Moon orbit using Orbiter propulsion module. Subsequently, Lander will separate from the Orbiter and soft land at the predetermined site close to lunar South Pole.

Further, the Rover will roll out for carrying out scientific experiments on the lunar surface. Instruments are also mounted on Lander and Orbiter for carrying out scientific experiments.

All the modules are getting ready for Chandrayaan-2 launch during the window of July 09, to July 16, 2019, with an expected Moon landing on September 06, 2019.

A few months before the Marawi situation began I had a thread explaining how these Moros indirectly influenced the development of the pump action shotgun and heavy .45 pistol to replace the double barrel and .38 revolvers. They'd charge the occupying USMC with such frenzy they needed more stopping power! They've a long history of violence and family feuds like Pathans but thankfully minus the faggotry.

I wonder the flightline availability of all those ac CONSIDERING THIS:
More than 60 percent of Navy and Marine Corps strike fighters are out of service, the Navy confirmed today. While 62 percent of fighters are effectively grounded, the overall figure for all naval aircraft is 53 percent.

The Marines might be overchallenged maintaining fixed wing planes at sea (i dont think money is a issue here). Why do they need an independent air arm except vertical lift (helos) at all when most of their air assets depend on US Navy Carriers? During WW2 the Marines even owned a transport fleet which was after the war integrated back into the Navy. Maybe the same should be done for the sake of efficiency with the fixed wing assets so the corps an focus on am.

IDEF 2019: FNSS Zaha Marine Assault Vehicle MAV

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RqAoW5PxCU

The APC version will have a crew of 3 (commander, driver, and gunner) and can carry 21 dismounts who can rapidly be deployed via the rear power-operated ramp.

The Zaha MAV features a fully sealed hydrodynamic hull design with a self-righting capability and is powered while afloat by two water jets mounted either side at the rear, giving a maximum speed of up to 7 kts. These are run from a power take-off from the front-mounted powerpack, which consists of a diesel engine coupled to a fully automatic transmission giving a maximum land speed of up to 70 km/h.

The APC variant is fitted with a FNSS-developed remote-controlled turret armed with a stabilised .50 calibre M2 HB machine gun and a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher. The turret has a day/thermal sighting system to enable targets to be engaged under almost all weather conditions.

Standard equipment includes an NBC system, air conditioning system, a fire/explosion detection and suppression system, and the ability to lay smoke by injecting diesel fuel into the exhaust outlet in the side of the hull.

10 additional Ka31 AEW ordered for IN

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-cxkeBl-RE

Video of Ka31 with IN

one reason why I don't favor buying equipments from abroad is you loose lot in the bargain, especially to enemy countries. In the video one can see the reason why.

Also it is almost foolish to be the launch customer of a foreign weapon system. One ends up with lot of headaches and lot of extra costs in the bargain.
