nemesis8u: You keep telling me to read books but I can tell from the over confidence that you're the one who desperately needs to. Stalin never trusted Hitler nor the pact. The only thing he wanted was to keep war at bay for as long as possible to properly arm his men, by keeping the Fuhrer jovial and reassured. The deeper intricacies of historical warfare are surely not your forte. Read between the lines when you read. 5 Likes 1 Share |

TayserMahri: Ok I now am telling u don't read books ![]() And u r most welcomed to ur opinions And me to mine And the readers to theirs Lol Stalin sure did a might poor job of arming his men I must say after signing agreement with hitler ![]() If I remember correct in the early days of the war a Soviet recruit used to get a rifle and another recruit a clip of ammo , if the soldier with the rifle got shot , the one with the ammo was supposed to pick it up and use it. Nice war preparation . 5 Likes |

nemesis8u: He did arm his men eventually, and marched to Berlin. Only that Hitler broke the pact too early. 10 yrs as planned and the Blietzkrieg would have been repelled on day 1. ![]() 2 Likes 1 Share |

Since i know that in my entire Neighborhood other then me, only you have a real Assault Weapon, while other neighbors have just few blades and no courage to stand up against me. Since i know you are the only person able to hit me back and hard by any means, only you can match me fist to fist and fire to fire. So I went into an agreement with you that we will not carry weapons in street nor we will fight, we are most powerful brothers in this entire neighborhood, You believed me ![]() You was without weapon, I surprised you in night and attacked you. And now you survived my ambush and now you came again to my doorstep with full preparation and now i am doing nothing but saving face cause i know it will be my destruction if now i declare all out war. This is not a War, me and many will believe that will be called a "Violation of Truce" , "Treachery" Although at the same time this can be interpreted as "My intelligence and your Foolishness to trust me", But still that incidence will be labelled as Treachery and Violation of Truce. nemesis8u: No. This is what Stalin said the day after the pact, "Of course, it's all a game to see who can fool whom. I know what Hitler's up to. He thinks he's outsmarted me, but actually it's I who have tricked him". Prepare for war with massive armaments buildup, yet do everything to avoid fighting. This is the exact opposite of signing di ting and putting all trust on it. |

TayserMahri: Source for the quote ? And then why was USSR caught unprepared and lost more than a million of its people within a year of attack ? If Hitler had not overruled his generals advice to bypass Stalingrad , the Germans would have reached Moscow easily. Communists are good at propaganda and misinformation regarding their leaders. Eg Lenin is officially claimed to have died of Hemorrhagic stroke but reality is he died of syphilis . 3 Likes |

nemesis8u: Well it was actually said by Nikita Krushchev, Stalin's successor. You should know the man loathed Stalin and denounced him and his personality cult as soon as he rose to power, so he would have no reason to give credit to the man. He also said this;
Here is the actual quote, its reliable bruh, you cant adulterate its truthfulness with your low opinion of the Bolsheviks. You can follow the citation number to the original book.
FYI, Stalin suspected Germany would invade the USSR as early as the 1930s. The one man who trusted in the pact was Hitler because he felt the soviets had a lot to gain from it. On the contrary, Josef had no reason to trust it except in the sense of avoiding an early onset of the war.
Its all here https://spartacus-educational.com/RUSnazipact.htm
You don't understand what we're talking about. The pact managed to keep Hitler at bay for just that little much longer. Any earlier and the entire Soviet union would have capitulated (check bolded above). So it worked. Hitler was the fool, because the longer he took the more he invited doom to himself and his country by allowing russian armament. 1 Like 1 Share |

The new 130mm Leo with APS is ready! https://youtu.be/t20Z_qxpYYc They say it has 50% greater penetration than the 120 milly. Idk what the fill combat load is as these rds are longer but they're more powerful and accurate meaning less are required in tank duels if EVERYTHING works as advertised. Ofc, its a reaction to the Armata but its also possible its a 130 milly testbed. Time will tell. 1 Like
