I criuosly wished ppl could think before postingggg their comments on this thingg, or d moderator review ppls comme der being postedd, cos it seems der some shallow brainy ppl of nairalandd, all dey do is post useless comments dat wudnt benefit der lives or dat of oda nigerianss, in d topics in question, adeboye does not need to speak to our so called leaders kno der responsibilities. Every month, der alaways prayer nd fasting for the nation in whch he obliges ever1 to take part inn, nd im sure if d man goes to speak to them again some retards on nairaland would opn der mouth aimlessly to say that d man is corrupt or has gone der to collect bribe, nd personallv i dnt fink religion has to do with the economic nd develmental growth of nigeriaa, simplessss!!!!!!!! |
Re: Is Baba Adeboye Too Quiet On Political Issues? by sjeezy8: 5:59pm On Sep 17, 2009 |
youngmonie: If he doesn't talk to them openly then what good is it? if he doesn't collect bribe he fosters corruption through tithes in his church, which is the same. Religion has everything to with economical and developtment of Nigeria. If you dont know anyone who has as much influence as he does IS SUPPOSE TO USE IT TO BETTER THOSE AROUND. |

Anything which which attenuates the flow rate of Big Daddy Eunuch Adejale's cold cash income is an ABOMINATION in the name of Jeeesus, I say verily unto you, and any sheep of the Holy Flock, who fails to contribute their ALL for aviation fuel so that Eunuch's Gulfstream4 luxury jet can convey Big Daddy to Jeeeesus' lap, is an unrepentant SINNER in the eyes of the Almighty Eunuch, and will be flogged into compliance often and vigorously, Praise the Lord ! As my own modest and humble TITHE to Big Daddy Eunuch Adejale Phd. Ole. MD. , I hereby pledge to sell off all my wordly possessions in order to subsidize the salary of Pastor Eunuch's manicurist for just one week, since that is all I am worth. Hopefully with this supreme sacrifice, my place on the Right Hand Side of God is reserved with a season ticket validated for eternity by Big Daddy Eunuch Himself, Aaaaaamen. |

OMG some of us in this country are either DUMB or probably Hypocrites if you address him as Mr Adeboye or pastor Adeboye would it kill you u had to add BABA, maybe u really lack some sense of self worth so worshiping folks in authority is your idea of respect crazy Please nairalanders,i posted this thread not because i wanted to cause any uproar rather for us to discuss and learn because no one knows too much,i believe this place is an interactive section but some of us are turning it inti and abusive ground, please folks,i do know that Baba Adeboye is not a politician but he has a sense of commitment to contribute meaningfully towards the develoment of the well being of this country. Secondly,at every Holy Ghost Night he prays for this country which means he has the good of the country at heart,so i still do not see any reasons if he speaks to Nigerians, afterall the Lagos State govt. asked him to tell well meaning Nigerians as well as Emirs and Obas to pay their tax and i do not see any reson with that. Lastly,i want to commend on the above poster who said why i included the title Baba, please dearie, the councillors and local government officials are tagged with "HONOURABLE" much more a man that was listed amongst the 50 most infleuntial people in the world and you complained for calling him BABA,let me ask you how do you address you parents at home,do you call them by their names and i am confident that Baba Adeboye is much older than them.so why dont you accord him with such respect. |
Re: Is Baba Adeboye Too Quiet On Political Issues? by Jakumo(m): 7:20pm On Sep 17, 2009 |
ifihearam: With Nigeria inching closer daily to near failed-state status, where religious cult leader like Big Daddy Eunuch can ANNEX and BLOCK FEDERAL highways every month with total impunity, and so kill motorists by the score in avoidable traffic pileups, the prayers to which the above writer refers are obviously those of a yellow-eyed Nile crocodile, lurking in submerged ambush and praying for the wildebeest to momentarily drop their guard when they are forced by thirst to drink from the muddy river. With respect to the Holy Ghost Night, I have a really good suggestion about where that concept can be lodged, for all the good it does anyone in the REAL world |

Considering the most infleuntial man of God in this country Nigeria and the world at large, yet he does not speak on certain political issues which i feel could take a new turn if people of his calibre alongside his counterparts like Bishop David Oyedepo,Pastor Chris Oyakhilome etc. wow, didn't know that IBRU is a member of his Church; i guess its non of his business now that she is in trouble. Obasanjo, Ibru , who else is among the major political and financial embezzlers in this man made hell called Nigeria, and where do they worship what? and the church leader kept quiet. why wouldn't he, when no political leader dare ask questions about how he got his private jet? isn't that why he doesn't talk about it? |

the man is a pastor and not politician. what if he gives advise to the leaders personally and they don't heed to it, should he be talking about it through the press? moreover he listens to God's directions not men. |

it is disgusting some of the comments I read on this thread. In this age and time some pple still do nt fear God and respect constituted authorities. For those of us who post replies for the sake of posting and insulting this great leader be warned. whether he dines with them or collect their money let it be left for God to judge if he doesnt dine with them how does he make the message hv impact. Pa Adeboye is nt a miracle worker he is only a vessel in the hand of God. if we hv nothing to say lets be quite and do nt meddle religion with politics. Jesus was the greatest leader on earth yet he bowed to cruxifiction by the govt. |

'Touch not my anointed' yet many of you were all too eager to lambast Rev. King and TB Joshua. Don't they qualify as 'Men of God' too? And i disagree with the original poster; Adeboye's seeming lack of reluctance to fraternise with many of our corrupt ex-leaders (i.e Obasanjo) is already a statement in itself. |

i_am_model: Pick up a Bible, read about Moses, how he spoke to the king and what he did when the king did not listen to him. Then tell us if your "BABA" here is a better man than Moses, or even Jeremiah, or Daniel, all recorded in the Bible as men of God. |

@jakumo Please be mindful of your words and i pray for understanding for you my friend. I am certain you will end up becoming a vessel of God then and then alone would God reward u according to what you have said concerning this Man of God |

it is disgusting some of the comments I read on this thread. In this age and time some pple still do nt fear God and respect constituted authorities. Who are those people who dont fear God? Maybe they dont fear your own god Eunuch AdeJALE Adeboye For those of us who post replies for the sake of posting and insulting this great leader be warned. whether he dines with them or collect their money let it be left for God to judge if he doesnt dine with them how does he make the message hv impact. Guru Maharaji is also a Great Leader in this context, Reverend King, Boko Haram and TB Joshua Pa Adeboye is nt a miracle worker he is only a vessel in the hand of God. if we hv nothing to say lets be quite and do nt meddle religion with politics. Jesus was the greatest leader on earth yet he bowed to cruxifiction by the govt Dont dare mention Jesus here. Jesus did not connive and help steal the Isrealite and block their highway on a Monthly basis. Jesus did not Bring Caesar or Herod to the temple to preach on the pulpit rather he chased out those buying and selling from the temple while Adeboye has special seats for OBJ, Daniels, Alao-Akala, Oni of Ife and Oyinlola |

Who the Bleep is Baba or Daddy G.O? Some Christians, so-called, make me sick. Jesus told you guys not to call any one "Father" but your God in Heaven so where are you Guys keeping Your Dumb Brains? Are you sure you got them in your Skulls at all? Seriously, why cant Adeboye use his Influence to speak out against the ever growing spate of curruption in this sick country Nigeria? whats the freaking use of his influence then? I guess the Raters where paid to fix his name there! Seriously if the Lunatic Osama Bin Laden can use his bleeped up Religion to Change World Politics by a certain degree,The Dalai Lama can influence a large part of Asia politically, why cant Adeboye use his influence to turn certain things right? Well he is "Daddy G.O" the saint so he is headed for Heaven right? So where does Gani Fawehinmi go to? Answer you touch-not-my-anointed Christains!! But You same Christians felt Gani's Influence on Nigeria, and he was a Muslim. And another thing. If he doesnt speak in Politics i think he think Nigeria or the World cannot change since as a Christian Leader and a Christian he should be expecting the Second Coming, which means things arent going to get better before the world ends. BUT doesnt he look that way? isnt he a PROSPERITY and TITHE Pastor? why doesnt he preach DOOM DOOM FOR THE WHOLE WORLD? |

There was a Magazine AD that said, when the Man of God was in his forties,"Get on Tour with the G.O". He was going on a missionary Journey to the nation of isreal then. Today, just post a thread on this Man of God and the outcry u get back will be ernomous. Even the press are waiting to make another scincillating eye catching storyline out of his talks. Is there little wonder why he is one of the most influential people on earth as some call it? So is it not better to keep quiet when u know your cough will make so many heads start rolling? It is a gift given to him by God, to influence people right from the start of his ministry and it pays him not to abuse it by making unplanned and unguided remarks. No matter what coloration we give, this man has certain real backings from the Almighty. Thank You. |
