frankman365:If South west is not developing there won't good working conditions for other tribes settling down here. If not for the fact that I know many Ibos offline I would said Ibos are naturally ungrateful with the way some of you spew rubbish and some of these southern states. If Yoruba is as retrogressive as you keep painting then why continue staying? Why not just go back to your land or better still greener pastures? I hate to be tribalistic but since you guys are making it difficult then everybody stand for himself. 2 Likes |

MissMorayo: Thank you. Please help me tell the Buffon this... Yoruba states are not progressing yet you and yours can't stay away from there, in fact your livelihood is dependent on the SW. Or are there to develop it like you developed South Africa, China, Indonesia etc... Bunch of clowns. 2 Likes |

You are nothing but a learner! If Tinubbu didn't work, why all your se-ss governors are rushing to Lagos to hide their stolen loots. We appreciate Tinubu and all that he has been bringing to Lagos. He introduced Fasola and all of you can see what he did. The present governor has just won best..... So many achievements you can attribute to him. People like that don't appreciate good things are better off inside creaks or better still, thrown to lagoon. Anyway, you can use your ATM card to check the balance on your brain Noneroone: 1 Like |

Ibori stole from Delta state yet Delta state progressed greatly under him. He established and built many higher institutions, established and renovated hospitals, schools, roads, adequate security, money was in circulation. There was great wealth and Delta was bubbling. If truly he stole Delta blind, how was he able to do all these? Are the incoming governors covering up some abracadabra under him? Maybe. But if not, then Ibori is the best thing to ever happen to Delta state. He was painted to be evil because of his ambition by people who are bigger criminals. Had Ibori be free now, he would have hijacked the political structure of Nigeria and tried and jailed by a PDP government - forget the fact that he is serving in London, the FG used his criminal records in London to jail him because they couldn't do that here without much problem. There would have been anarchy if Ibori, the most loved governor Delta state ever had was jailed in Nigeria. now fast forward to Uduaghan tenure, he wasted his first 7 years in office without any tangible projects or good leadership and used the last one year to renovate primary and secondary schools. Now Okowa that is been called a failure just because he doesn't play media politics has awarded and commissioned 58 roads in Delta state with good drainage system. I was in Asaba few months ago and I can testify to that. How he is a failure is what I don't understand. |

It is not only Okowa that celebrates Ibori, many Deltans do. Hate it or like it, NO AMOUNT OF BASHING can diminish Ibori' s status in Delta. The bridges he constructed are still there. The three polytechnics he built that have provided employment for thousands of Deltans are still there. As an undergraduate during Ibori' s tenure, I received N9, 500 bursay. We were the envy of students from other States. I can go on and on.... Surely, most of you commenting are not Deltans. Some of you are angry and agitated. Just watch out for his return. It is going to be a phenomenon. In fact, critical and reflective minds will research why a man who served a jail was given such welcome. Leave Ibori alone |

And for God sake people should stop comparing Lagos with any State in Nigeria. Lagos already has a development structure and any Lagos governor that doesn't perform deserves to be stoned to death. |

I didn't know why all d post always hv tribalist under tone. is wrong to celebrate a condemned criminal, but pining it to a particular region is also wrong. Nigeria failed to develop today is because of aggregate corruption in all regions. why Fighting for politicians that don't care if u exist 1 Like |

omoharry: My sister no need to be disappointed. They are like this............... This is why i will never respect PDP politicians. i dont know much about APC because i didn't work with them. I worked for Okowa and some other politicians from Delta state as egbe-wager far back 1999 to 2005. Sleeping in big hotels and having fun before i raised money to travel abroad. They have nothing to offer. Their language, their gesture is zero. Okowa is slow poison, too much blood in his hands. As at then, many of us were in local govt. payroll. We receive monthly salary for nothing. Local govt. is a scam and waste of money. It is an avenue to settle political boys. Ika northeast allocation go straight to Okowa's house while Ika south allocation go straight to Dr. Cairo Ojugbo's House. I am pretty sure that other local govt. allocations across Nigeria go straight to other godfather's house. 4 Likes |
