Apc is like 90% former pdp. All old corrupt, no vision having politicians. How about a new party with educated young promising Nigerians?

At least one positive from the election was breaking the jinx that the incumbent cannot be defeated. We need another opposition party to check Bubu and APC aside pdp

You missed the point here. This isn't about any political affiliation but rather about Nigeria as a nation. How we can make this country great and economic vibrant.

The masses are suffering and people are dying of starvation without any hope of where the next meal will come from.
Businesses are winding down every day because of the flip flop economy policies by this government. As someone put it, " Its better to be in hell than to do business in Nigeria"

Bros maybe you should read over, na we the observers understand wetin him write. We are not part of the hailers or wailers o.

PDP failed nigeria for 16 years.

APC that came after them is a senseless government.

Obviously they lack the wisdom to lead nigeria to success.

SMH.

The confidence built over 16years of hard work on our then growing economy that attracted foreign investors has just vanished within one year!

We warned but prejudice and hatred blinded a whole lot of people and today we are here. If not for unbridled anger, who would have rejected the sound economic team of GEJ for one antediluvian tyrant called buhari? Any way, what has been written must be accomplished. Welcome Feyi.

A sound economic team that couldn't manage a period of plenty? Abeg shift.

I can remember earlier when investors started fleeing one after the other. Some of us were shouting "let them go we don't need them, they are parasites".

Now we are hunting for these same investors we used megaphones to kick out.

Jonathan did not fail Nigerians. He rather failed the south south and sotheast who suffer unmotorable roads while he was busy pleasing the north with new roads.

Jonathan had good economic team while buhari has nothing like that.

At least 4 Jonathan policies which the Nigerian masses opposed in one way or the other, have been implemented by Buhari at greater pain to Nigerians and nobody said a word.

Looking at both govt, non is satisfactory per say but the previous is better by miles. At least the scarcity of dollar should not affect the price or garri or akpu in the market

The bigger fool is someone who knew that APC was the same as PDP and still voted them anyway because of tribalism and bigotry.

Tell yourself the truth, is Apc govt better than Pdp's govt?

Pardon me please but I honestly disagree with yoou. GEJ got it right his only problem was his taciturn act towards his ministers and his inability to take charge of this. He appreciated the criticism towards the ending of his tenure. I make bold to say that if he was re-elected,he would haave changed the face of Naija fromb bad to better.

ASOROCKZ01: I see your point, but what you are doing is just comparing a 1 good point in GEJ with all of PMB, habaa my chairman, did you not hear how much those that stole from Deziani stole?? not to talk of Deziani or Dasuki etc, GEJ was too dumb and too afraid to comfront corruption... you think GEJ can control Dasuki, Tompolo, NOI GEJ was a colossal failure my broda, lets get our facts and figures right. And in as much as i like and appreciate your points, the reason why we have a 73 year old man ruling us with ideas of 80's is because of failed leadership like that of GEJ. The corruption is still endemic up till this day and PMB is currently surrounded by "sharks" and he is trying his best to reduce corruption. Think about it, Saraki and Ekeremadu are corrupt, Dogara is corrupt, Dambazzau and Buratai has cases to answer so my broda, what can PMB possibly do well and don't forget he was installed with help from Corrupt Tinubu, corrupt Atiku, Amaechi, Rochas, Saraki etc. It is tough my broda.

The fact that people thought Buhari ever has any idea on how to run a government will never stop to make me wonder. What has ever been Buhari's contribution to national issue since he left power in 1985? Nothing! Yet many were deluded and thought a reclusive man who doesn't understand what modernity or civilisation is all about is the one to lead them to promise land. It's like Americans voting Donald Trump, they will find themselves in big shit. Nigeria will be child's play compare to them.

It's a pity that even Buhari supporters don't want him to suceed. Imagine a friend of mine, a staunch supporter of Buhari, that has got his masters from a University in England still wants to enroll for MBA in a University in England in this 2016.
Why can't Nigerians help the con3 by cutting down our taste 4 everytin foreign. Cut vacation in Dubai and Los Angeles. Imagine Tinubu son going to Italy to wed.

Now they are telling BDCs that they are only allowed to add a 2% margin to forex sales. In a couple of months time, the forex landscape will be such that no one will remember that these same people ‘floated’ the naira a couple of months ago.

A few weeks ago, the CBN governor was in New York to meet with some investors and try to convince them to return to Nigeria. One of the big fund managers refused to meet at all. Please understand this — the CBN governor was in their city and they refused to meet him. Nigeria has less than zero credibility in the eyes of foreign investors right now. And less than a month later, he has proved them correct by constantly fiddling with the rules and trying all kinds of shenanigans. They know he is not reliable so nothing that comes out of his mouth can be believed.

The logic of floating the naira some of us campaigned for was simple — a transparently priced currency would give investors confidence to bring their money into the country after they all ran away. The inflow of forex would then reduce the pressure on the naira and make life a little less painful for Nigerians who are exposed to forex through the price of imported goods.

When the government then goes back to its vomit by fiddling with the market. When it keeps a CBN governor who has less than zero credibility with the people we are trying to entice back into the country. When the agriculture minister is openly threatening private businesses based on the idea that everything you have is only yours because the government allow you to have it. When the government is directly increasing the suffering of Nigerians even though it claims to be doing the opposite.

All well and good, but at the end of the day, prices would still go up, and the forex shortage would still remain.

And investors do not come to Nigeria for a variety of reasons.

Nigeria's problem is our reliance on selling raw materials, whose prices we do not control, to earn forex. Truth be told...that is the issue. Floating the naira,or waiting for oil prcies to rise again won;t solve it.

Now back to the thread, Prior to the election, GEJ and pdp were not an option for Nigerians and I am afraid they are still not.

At least one positive from the election was breaking the jinx that the incumbent cannot be defeated. We need another opposition party to check Bubu and APC aside pdp

And breaking that jinx was made possible by the transparent nature of GEJ!

If GEJ wanted to stick to power, he would by making sure he got rid of Jega and put someone there who would have co-ordinated the elections to his favor.

The worst that would have happened is that those in leadership today would have been the ones to be called "Wailers" and incidences of violence would have emanated in most parts of the North which would have still been eventually curtailed by the Army on the instructions of the President BUT CERTAINLY our economy wouldn't be in this mess because even if NOI was not still the finance minister, someone else of pedigree would have been in charge of the helm of affairs in the ministry rather than the present good-for-nothing phonetic grammer-speaking 16+6=24 semi-literate dundee we have as the minister for finance!

I am not saying PDP was the best but APC is certainly the WORST!

The people who clamored for this CHANGE are like foolish people who were living close to fire and were feeling the heat and voted in people who then finally pushed them into the furnace!

Nigerians should enjoy the CHANGE!
