Few months ago the power situation in Nigeria went from bad to worst and the Federal Government received adequate backlash for this. Fast forward to this present day(17th of August 2016), meaningful progress has been made no wonder the hue and cry has died down.

Back then in my area(Ikotun) the light flashes like 5times each day not exceeding 30seconds, but today the story is different. For the past 3weeks to 1month the power situation has increased beyond measures. Presently we now enjoy a minimum of 18hrs and more of electricity per day.

I'd like to know what is the power situation in your area? And if the improvement needs to be commended or reprimanded in case of a decline.

It has improved here too. 16-18 hours daily.

Kudos I must say.

Port harcourt (Woji) we have light everyday, I am not sure of how long, but I get home and meet my fridge cold and inverter full.

Though the power situation has not improve much.However,can it be sustained?Does the little improvement get to do with the constant rainfall that rise water level in kainji dam or the suspension of pipeline vandals as Fashola put it,that caused the power supply to declined?

It improved in my work neighborhood along Muritala Muhammed Airport Road in Lagos

But in my home hood, not so impressive but we enjoy 3-4 hours during the middle of the night..
