How do I turn off write protected on my 16gig flash drive. I have tried safe mode, regedit.exe and command prompt methods. I have also used some utilities but no way. I don't just know what to do because I can't delete anything or format the flash drive.

Try this

Launch command window as adminstrator
Type 'diskpart' without the quotation marks, hit return
Type 'list disk' without quotation marks, hit return
Type 'select disk X' where X is the disk number of the drive, hit return
Type 'clean', hit return.

Launch Disk Management
Initialise disk, let use know if this worked for you.

It didn't work.I don't know what to do.

I hate to be the one telling you this but that flash drive is spoilt.
I had the same challenge with a flash drive and did so many tweaks to make it writable....but none worked.
i went online and searched for solutions which made me realised that most times it is the hardware that is faulty and it can not be fixed.
