This morning i saw a message on my phone from Eksu that i should go check for my screening date so i hurriedly dress up and went to the cafe. On getting there, i was told i need to pay before i can check, and i was like "you don't know what you are talking about"

So i bought time and log on to Eksu portal, and to my outermost surprise this was what i saw:

eksu has shortlisted the names of aspirant who will be screened....anybody that got a message from eksu dn get luck......eksu will surely offer them admission

I'm not one of the students union executives neither one of the principal officers of the institution, I'm just a student of the university . On the issue you raised here,I'm happy to tell you that the Students union had worked on the issue which the registrar justified the new payment of N5600.

EKSUSU P. R. O UPDATES ✅ADMISSION SCREENING: TEAM ARUSON deemed it fit to enquire about the second payment of #5600 from the Jambites as the same amount was paid earlier. ✅During the chats between the SCHOOL REGISTRAR and TEAM ARUSON, the following were the outcomes: REGISTRAR: ✅YES they are to pay another #5600 because the screening is of two phases. The first stage was the screening of credentials while the second stage of the screening is the interview they are about to do. The interview will be carried out by different lecturers and the welfarism of the lecturers will be considered as well as the interview will also involve some expenditures. The interview will also aid to confirm the exact results of the candidates in correlation to their prospective courses. He further stressed that the sumtotal of #10000 if for the screenings while the #1200 is for portal assess fee. He said the second interview was delayed to 5th because of those using awaiting results. ✅The closing date for the printing of screening slip is 2nd of September ✅The date for the screening remains 5th - 9th September ✅THE SCREENING INTERVIEW will be an oral interview which will serve as an assessment for all candidates. ✅Note: If you dont get any text message from the university, it shows that your are not qualified which means you have been SCREENED OUT in the first phase of the screening. He further stressed that the site can't be assessed because of the lateness in the uploading of the awaiting results.
