Going by political pundits, Obaseki of APC stands a better chance here. Pastor Ize Iyamu is seen as a politcal stooge of the Igbenedions and Anenih and these folks are hungry for power desperately in the state level cause it's been long they aligned with the corridors of political power in Edo State. The ordinary Edo commune believes that a vote for Pastor Ize Iyamu is a vote for the monster called Lucky Igbenedion. Pastor Ize Iyamu of PDP was a staunch member of the looting cartel under Lucky's dark-days regime in Edo state and till date, he'll be remembered on the side of negativity. I can stake anything that Godwin Obaseki will win but with a little margin above Ize Iyamu. |
