I have couple of friends on facebook but i found out that most of them are not pleased with the local spellings of their names instead they westernized them.You see names like orlahtheemaygee,berlowgoon,hayzay,chucudy,orghazy etc and i begin to wonder why we are not proud of our names online, Is this ok, |

First presumption is that they are 'not pleased' with the spellings. How do you know this? Second presumption is 'local spellings' - who made these spellings 'local'? Did your ancestors before the coming of the White man spell names?  I don't think it's a big deal - I suspect most of the guys doing it are just out for fun and nothing more. |
