5th Kenya road network: First you need to appreciate that kenya is not uniformly settled. There is really no economic benefit having a tarmac to a desert where 10 people live every 50kms.

Kenya paved road network is now about 20,000kms. The rest of roads network is motorable all-weather well maintained murrams.

4th Quiz - Kenya borrowing to prop Kshs is unsupported by any evidence. Find us a link showing Kenya's Treasury is borrowing to help Central Bank prop shillings. Central Bank has rarely gone to market the last few years to buy or sell dollars.

For isntance as we speak Kshs has strengthen to around 101 to a dollar after falling to 104...and it plays around there based mostly on market forces...with CBK rarely having to intervene.
so where was the money spent?

if not to pay old debts and support the currency.

how come there are no good roads in Kenya ?
how come there are no good hospitals in Kenya ?

where are the schools?
why is the water supply so poor?

why is it that only 30% of Kenyans have reliable electricity.

real economic growth leads to urbanization
people get improve living standards
access to education, electricity, water household and etc

Now let look at Ghana - the road network is laughable. Look at that map and compare to kenya. And only 17% is paved.

We are doing better - considering kenya is still largely rural. Now for folks who have urbanized 50% - that should be easy - but we know it isn't.

There are many countries that have made extreme poverty history including many in Africa.Relative poverty cannot be eliminated. For example in many developed countries like US anyone earning less than 20k dollars a year is considered poor but definitely they have eliminated extreme poverty (1.9 dollars a day a person).Even a beggar in US can surely ace that. When did Kenya poverty increase when every data has been suggesting drastic drop of poverty.I think now should be well under 30% not far from cooked Ghana 20% despite urbinazation or shanization or whatever you call those mega slumpolis

kenya poverty rate is 29.2%

Now you're spinning more questions. Why not check our budget and see where the money. Our budgets are out there...you just need to search. I think you're just a joker running on empty.

Ghana have 17% paved roads...Kenya was there about 10yrs ago...we are approaching 30% of all classified roads paved now.

We have 63,575 km of classified roads...and we have about 20,000kms paved.

In the last 6yrs alone we have added 9,000Kms of roads - from a road network of 11,000 - we are now 20,000kms

And that phase 1 of road annuity is about to end.....the plan is to pave 30,000kms of roads.

I have no problem with genuine questions but yours are starting to border on the infantile because you've realized you're running basically on empty after we exposed you for what you're - a primitive IMF colony.

What is funny? Kenya has added 10,000kms since 2014 through a Road Annuity programme - to its existing 12,000kms network - and that 30% of all classified roads. Ghana is doing 17%.
