IMPUNITY AND BETRAYAL
Where is the promise?
Again, where is the promise?
Where is the change you promised?

You claimed to be a man of integrity, but integral in your government are impunities, pains and sufferings!
You stung the common man with grave pains,
You gave gains and things only to your elite.

You traded the masses for affluence of your loyalists,
You faded young men to their early gallows!
You showed you’re black even in your many colours!

The thrill is gone, this is true!
The happiness has disappeared, this is the truth!
Terror has abound, hardness now our friend!

Your deadly poison you enamoured in a spice-full fish
Our eyes are opened, your lies have been opened,
Like decaying bodies, they sink and stink!

You promised us rain, you only sent whirlwind!
You promised us furnished shelters, your earthquakes have swept our buildings!
You promised us food, you have taken our plates, pots and fire!

The silent grave is wailing,
The sun has dangerously darkened!
Our nights now scream with booms, just for men to survive!

How long will our silent speak?
How long will our ‘will’ prevail?
How long can we change this change?
