N-Power Commences Training in October - Received 749,000 Applications

N-power is finally set to commence training in October 2016, after receiving 749,000 applications from applicants. This is a very important information to all applicants that applied for N-power recruitment 2016.

According to the federal government of Nigeria, the social investment programme was targeted at recruiting 500,000 graduates and 1000 trainees. The application which ended on 31 August, 2016 had 749,000 applicants.

Speaking to journalists in Abuja Mariam Uwais, who is the Special Assistant to the President on Social Investment Programme stated that N-power program received application from all the 774 Local government areas of the country with the highest applicants coming from Lagos,
Oyo, Rivers and Bauchi.

Uwais added that compilation applications and the commencement of training for successful applicants in October are currently in process. According to her, the training would last a period of one month before the participants are deployed to states to provide extension services.
