That is not Owerri and will never be Owerri. Owerri does not have a sea side, beach, wharf, boats, anchors etc. This is unlike your posting A-Emeka.

kobojunkie, even if de roads na federal road, you would think the shop owners will pool funds and pour gravel on the streets just to make their lives better.

i no tink say those people care at all, how dem fit allow grass to grow for their roofs like that? how many minutes e go take one of dem to uproot the grass? dem no even fear say the shops fit collapse. its quite a shame, araira is supposed to be one of the best markets in africa by now.

Nothing written here or pic shown half expresses the hell hole Aba has become, it is simply uninhabittable. Something really needs to be done fast or we may have an epidemic on our hands soon.
I weep for Aba cry

i wept over a year ago when i went to that town last.
i vowed that as long as it lied within my power, nothing will take me into that town again.
It is simply not fit for humans.

From the google shots, it shows that the city is WELL PLANNED. All it needs now is fixing the roads and the buildings, it'll just transform into a beautiful city. Abia state can do this. Just throw Orji and his team out next year.

The thing needs a lot more than that. It needs to be evacuated, decimated and then rebuilt. That city looks like a big rusty overflowing dumpster. I wouldn't be surprised if a new strain of a deadly virus comes from there.
