First, how authentic are jewish historical records and how were they kept:
1. Was Jesus Christ a real person according to historical records or was He just a mere character of jewish mythology?
2. Did He perform the miracles written in the bible and what was so different about Him compared with any other person recorded in history, even during His era?
3. How did He die? Where was He buried? Does it correspond with the account of the Bible?
4. Did He ascend into heaven? If not where are His remains according to historical records, was it ever found considering how great and popular He was even as a man?
There are 400 years between the OT and the NT in the Bible.
5. The gospels were written by 4 different people in different times in history, the very close similarity in the independent accounts of Matthew Mark Luke and John clearly suggests collusion but how was that even not possible?
6. Is Jesus the Messiah according to the OT ie. did He fulfil all the prophecies, including birth and death?
7. How accurate is the Bible, Is it true? How did the 66 books by different authors in entirely distant times in history come together to tell a consistent account of creation (still valid even > two thousand years later, especially when scientific theories barely last a decade at best centuries) the fall of man leading to depravity and his need for a saviour, the plan and execution of salvation, redemption, future events from prophecies, the end and afterlife.
8. Are the afterlife accounts of the Bible verifiable? I am yet to watch a video of someone who died and came back to life that remained an atheist, not one person. They all talk about Jesus Christ.
By the time you arrive at the answers to these mysteries, you may turn out to have even more faith than many christians '...Seek and you will find...'

A life with no purpose ? No wonder Atheists achieved so little and have no moral compass since man was created . To them , life is meaningless and there is no reason to achieve , or to love or be good . Is the op aware that the Gospels are adulterated mishmash of fairy tales, legends and traditions from nearly every nook and corner of the world ?

The OP says that atheists are among the most knowledgeable and sound thinkers, and yet he has the presumption that atheists have not read the Gospels, his Gospels.

There is absolutely nothing intellectual about religion , especially Christianity.

Secondly, the OP is being economical with the truth when he says that the pioneers of science were Christians. It's similar to saying that life began in Africa only after the Europeans arrived on shore.

The European Renaissance, and it's influence on learning and science, had it's roots in conquest and 800yr rule of Spain by the Moors of North Africa.
There, via Spain, Italy and France, learning and civilization seeped into Europe , and eventually heralded the Renaissance.
