At production outputs hovering around 2million bpd and at a cost of $48 per barrel which is roughly 25,000 naira per barrel given the exchange rate at 492 naira per dollar, oil sales amount to roughly 50bn naira daily. How much of that gets remmited back to oil producing states? On average Akwa Ibom gets the highest so far at a meagre 8bn monthly. Ponder on that you ingrates. |
