Flamingos in Pot 3 ahead of India 2022 draw
22nd June 2022

The Nigerian Under 17 (U-17) girls (Flamingos) have been ceeded in Pot 3 ahead of India 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup draw.

Nigeria, United States of America (USA), France, and China are in Pot 3 and will not face each other based on the ceeding.


The Flamingos has qualified for every edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup save for the last edition and picked a Qualifying spot from Africa without losing any game.

Africa’s other two representatives and debutants, Morocco and Tanzania are in Pot 4 alongside Colombia and Chile.

Host, India is in Pot 1 with Japan, Spain, and Germany while Pot 2 houses Mexico, Canada, Brazil, and New Zealand.

FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, India 2022 draw will take place on Friday, June 24, 2022, with teams in the same pots avoiding themselves in the group stage.

Imagine Comparing Thembi to Asisat Oshoala is an heavy insult… Tony Payne is even ahead of Thembi in to be sincere is just that Tony just came around,

Thembi should be contending with Uchenna Kanu and Rasheedat Ajibade
