Her performances in the 2018 WC, the Aisha Buhari Cup and the qualifiers against CIV are more than enough evidence for me that she is done, spent, finished (take your pick) and has no business in the SF. But, whatever rocks your boat, bro. Deltamani: |

elyte89: You’re Wrong, I wished you watch Rita Chikwelu play while she was in her 20s…… She was arguably top5 best Midfielders in Africa when Chikwelu was Chikwelu… Old age caught up with her since 2018 . Is not easy she can’t perform at that level again… 1 Like |

HOW I WAS ABANDONED TO MY FATE BY RIVERS ANGELS AFTER SUSTAINING KNEE INJURY WHILE PLAYING FOR THEM. Hi everyone. My name is Amaechi Daniella Ojini,am from Imo State but i was born and brought up in Jos,Plateau State.Am a footballer and former player of Rivers Angels football club of Portharcourt.i joined Rivers Angels in 2016 then in 2020 before the league started i signed three years(3)contract with the club for the 2020/2021 Season. Then after playing two league games for them, the league went on break.Rivers Angels management took us to play a novelty match with An ALL STAR Team at (omuma)a local government in Rivers State which i was among those that played the match. After the match my left knee start swelling and paining me seriously.when we got back to Portharcourt After the next training session i told the coach(Edwin Okon)that my knee is paining me and that i need to treat it he said okay, that how long will it take?i said i don't know, then they introduced me to one man that do Native Treatment he comes to the camp everyday to treat me and i pay his transport fare apart from the fee he charged me for the Treatment. The Coaches and Team Manager(Mrs Matilda Otuene)were all aware of the Injury and Treatment but they didn't Pay,Contribute or help me with a single dime to pay for my treatment, even the drugs the man prescribed for me i bought all of them with my personal money without any help from the club. Then i started recovering little by little then We went for (Super Six Tournament at Ijebu Ode). I played a match in that Tournament and we won the League. After we came back to Portharcourt i was dropped from the team even when i still have an existing contract with the club(Rivers Angels)They refused to give me my clearance even when it is stated in the form they gave all the players that when the Club drops a player they pay them off and give them a free clearance but they refused and asked me to leave the Team.Even when they knew fully well that i sustained that injury while playing for them. Even when i employed the services of a lawyer to help me fight for my rights and for them to pay me off since i have an existing contract with them all to no avail,Only for (Mrs Matilda Otuene)to tell the lawyer that i didn't play %10 of the league matches for the club, whereby there are many players that have been in that team for more than 5years but have not played up to 10 matches for the club. I was devastated then i went to Bayelsa Queens to try my luck but someone informed them that am nursing a knee injury,so they couldn't give me any contract at the end,the same thing happened also when i went to Nasarawa Amazon they couldn't sign me because of that same injury i sustained while playing for Rivers Angels football Club. After undergoing X-ray,MRI and Visiting an Orthopedic Surgeon it was discovered that Am suffering from An ACL Injury(Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury)and is going to cost me (3.5million)for the Surgery. I have Exhausted all my money going for Native Treatment to see if it will heal so i can return back to the field again all to no avail, because i can not afford the(3.5million)for the Surgery. Am begging the NWFL Board,NFF and Lovers of Football to come to my Aid So that i can do this surgery. Thanks and God bless you all.

The Falconets go into the break, leading Canada 2-1. The Canadians took an early lead, capitalizing on a goalkeeping error, but the Nigerians turned it around through Esther Onyenezide who converted two penalties. Half Time: Nigeria 2-1 Canada
