The charging port is perfectly fine except you've replaced the original one with a substandard one.
I've been using that phone since May, 2015. I never regretted buying that phone.
In fact, over 8 people purchased that particular phone through my recommendation, only one of them once had an issue with hers because of her carelessness and she got it fixed at Carlcare.

Charging the phone with the original charger that came with it for just 1Hour 30mins when it's just 1% of battery will get you 100% of battery.

Bro, if you have a defective charging port, change the charging port flex with a good one, then you've got your phone delivered.

I am not a fan of any brand at all, I started my smartphone life with Nokia Navigator then I switched to LG then Samsung then HP ( Data messenger ) then HTC pro 2, this HTC changed my experience about mobile OS. The phone came with Winmo 6, I played around it and got Android running on it, back in 2009, then I moved to HTC Imago, I was unable to port Android on it so I moved to Xperia X10i ( I loved this phone no be small ) then I moved to HTC HD2 (Long live HD2) this phone gave me the experience I loved the most about smartphone. I used this phone for a long time. The phone came with Winmo 6.5 I removed the Winmo, I ported Android Gingerbread, then I ported Jellybean on it ( Android nougat on HD2 *XDA rumour ), before the phone spoil due to serious fall and poor phone repairer.
No so I come say make I check out Samsung, then I went for the popular Galaxy Note 1, this phone camera good ehn! the pen nar wonder but the phone no last reach 6 month before e give up.
I just restart phone nar so e enter boot loop, I come say make I change the rom nar so the thing brick ( Am very patience, careful reader and I follow instructions strictly) am very good at tweaking OS from Winmo to Android to iOS. I checked internet and got to know that many people had the same problem. Samsung just produce phone for people to use for a while and the get another.
I switched back to HTC and since then I've being enjoying my life.
My HTC ONE M8 is the best phone ever (My rating though) I've changed the ROM more than 10 times, in fact am currently running HTC 10 ROM on my HTC ONE M8.
My verdict: HTC IS QUIETLY BRILLIANT!!!

Please how is the battery life of your HTC One M8 because I'm planning on getting a used one.

Injoo 3G HD. Utterly disappointing phone.
I now use the phone's flash as torchlight.
Thwt is the only thing it is useful for.

that phone showed me hell... sometimes it would just reboot for no reason.. (and it takes forever to boot).
I couldn't use the flash of my camera,if not the phone will just go off.
The battery drains with the speed of me drinking a cup of milk.
I couldn't load heavy webpages.
When charging, sometimes it shows that annoying black stuff... oh God!!!

have used many z10,bold5,curve4,currently q10,dont have any issue with it accept ba3 cuz is still not upto 5000mah compare to dat of gionee the king of ba3,the only fone dat gives me nightmare is a refurbished bold5,samsung note 2,both are refurbished so they are my worst experience so far,some of you folks that used to complain abt fone I guess that 90% of fone that gives you nightmare is refurbished,doh you can get good refurbished that can give you joy bt many are useless,so my advice if you wanna buy a phone tryna buy original factory unlock nd be happy,all os are great,nd if you don't knw a refurbished phone I advise when buying a phone try to contact a guru to assist you,sony,blackberry,samsung,htc, got a lot of refurbished out dia......pM foLkS

I Was really expecting that guy to say something meaningful as his reason but HE has kept mute since you asked him to shade more light. The only problem with d camon c8 is d multitasking issue and dat is because dey used 1 gig ram on a phone with lollipop os. Every other thing about d phone is great, especially d camera. I'm still using it. That is what I'm using to type this now. I bought it oct 1st 2015 and it still works fine. D multitasking s just d only problem with it. Dat was y I bought d l8plus, to get a phone that can multitask.

iPhone 4s . Even the iPhone 5 almost ruined my business, hangs alot
