The unexpected suspension and granted arrest of the traditional ruler of Uromi (Esan North East) by the outgoing Gov. Adams Oshiomole led many citizens of the town thinking that the Governor is only plotting a revenge on the King and his subjects due to several elections he lost in Uromi as a governor and APC member.

The just concluded governorship elections triggered the whole situation as the Gov. Oshiomole lost woefully in all the polling units and wards in Uromi. On that very day, an issue which according to everybody does not affect the office of the governor happened as his Royal Majesty had an issue with a female (APC Woman leader) at the polls which nearly led to a fight between his Majesty and members of the APC.

One will then wonder will the Governor is taking the issues to his tables. First, he ordered the arrest of the traditional ruler which was not successful, he then followed up with a master plan to suspend the King for a year.

Yes, Oshiomole, Obaseki and their party members lost with a huge margin in Uromi and Esanland at large that does not give them right to express their anger by placing the King in a tight corner and also insulting the entire people of Uromi.
