Text: Ephesians 6:10-11, Matthew 16:2-3

THEME: PERILOUS TIMES ARE HERE!

MESSAGE:
"1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers ofthose that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:from such turn away. "(2 Timothy 3:1-5)

We want to believe that you are following the trend of events the world over. The rate of evil and wickedness going on all over the world has become unprecedented as men have devised newer ways of sinning against God. Men have become lovers of themselves more than lovers of God and so, manifest evil and wickedness on the highest level. The implication is that they have become everything other than what God wants them to be. The end result of this kind of character disposition is that they might end up very badly.

Mathew 24:4-8 "4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning ofsorrows."

Being a believer in Christ, you must be conversant with the program of Satan this period and make sure you do not entangle yourself with this latest trend by becoming a lover of yourself more than a lover of God. Remember, Christ paid the price for your sin. So, He is the One that should reign in your life. Without Him, it becomes difficult surviving the perils of the present time. You must therefore be watchful in prayer and guard your salvation jealously.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. I ask for the spirit of humility to take over my life, in Jesus' name.

2. Every spirit of the world released from the pit of hell to corrupt the salvation, of the Chosen ones, I turn you back by fire, in Jesus' name.

3. Every peril lurking around targeting our G. O, our mummy and their children, miss target and return back to sender, in Jesus' name.
