This was a Video and transcript of the speech of Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Honourable Minister for Transportation at the Rivers APC South-East Senatorial Mini Rally in Bera, Gokhana LGA.
If our Politicians are having a Rally, they should just do so, but creating hatred for people and causing the youths to fight during election is what is causing problems in this our Country.
The words in Bold says it all. They (Politicians) will ask the Youths to VOTE, STAND there and DEFEND while they(Politicians) enjoy the benefits after the Youths get injured and killed due to violence. It is time our Youths wake up from deception.

"If there is one place that the APC shouldn't campaign, where is that? (Crowd roars, "Ogoni!". God Wike says he must win here... You know why I call him god Wike? Because only God can say that. And since he's not God, what will happen? (Crowd roars, "he will fail!". Wike can never be God. He was a small boy under me (crowd jeers and laughs).

The battle is not here at all. The battle is in the Ikwere axis, Kalabari and Ahoada axis, not here.

He said he would deploy everything. Anything he wants to deploy, let him deploy, we will deploy our own.

This is one place we don't need to campaign. I won't start to repeat the things we have done in Ogoni area, it's not important. What is important is, I dare him to do the same things that I did here, including taking your children oversees. Instead of leaving them behind, he returned them to Nigeria. Poor innocent children. Poor children of poor families.

What you will do, don't do like the democrats who went to sleep, come out and vote. In the past elections, we took security for granted, but this time we will not take security for granted. If Wike likes, let him come out.

At all the times he has come out, I said, does this man remember that he is a governor? It's only a thug that can stand in front of a judge's gate and be struggling with security men. Only a thug... A governor would go back to his house and call the president.

When the SSS invaded the presidential lodge of the Akwa Ibom State government, the governor didn't go to the gate, what did he do? He called the president.

'Mr. President, as I'm talking to you now, SSS people are invading the presidential lodge. I don't know what they're doing here'. And they were asked to return to Abuja.

Instead of this one to call the president, what did he do? (Crowd shouts "struggled with security!". Only a thug can do that... Only a thug.

In all the fight I had with the federal government with president Jonathan, nobody saw me physically battling with the security (a voice screams "you're a governor!" Another shouted "you are too intelligent". When I became governor, there were so many people appointed by Odili, there were so many businesses by Odili's people. Did I stop any? (Crowd roars "NO!". Wike is a thug, he's not a governor. He doesn't know what it is to govern.

The only way to show him that he's a thug is this election, because after this election, Wike will not come here again.

How can you see a governor with murderers murdering people everywhere; giving them appointments everywhere? Ask the one in Ikwerre if he was not arrested by SSS for murder in UST. Ask him. He was released by the pressure of government then. Now he's back killing people everywhere.

What you don't know about life... Let us even assume that we don't win election in 2019... (Crowd roars, "we will win". I know we will win, but let us just assume. Maybe... Maybe... There will be a day that Wike will no longer be the governor, and he and his people will account for all the killing in Rivers State. That is why as a governor I was careful with what I did in office, so that if you call me, I'd be able to answer.

God will bless all of you as you come out today, and as you vote for all our candidates. Don't look for name, just vote APC, APC, down. When you finish voting, sit down there and be prepared to tell them that today, nobody can hijack it from us again.

Well...political demagoguery just landed a rookie in the White House. If it worked over there, it will keep working in a third world nation like Nigeria.

By the way, many of our politicians are notorious for appealing to emotions rather than reason. The vitriolic campaign that pervaded last year's general elections is a good example.
