For the first time, I am on the same page with this guy. They should put a jail term with no option of fine on it (for the parents and the "tattoo" artist). The people that actually draw the marks must be heartless people, I can't imagine how they would go through with it, while the baby is in pain. 1 Like |

Good move. But what we sorely need now are bills that will bring back the price of rice to 8 thousand naira per bag, and bills that will bring fuel down to 44 naira per litre and bills that will bring the dollar exchange rate to 180 naira. |

Dino Melaye is one of the educated but ignorant politicians who gained popularity at the expense of the incompetent Jonathan. If Jonathan had been a competent President people like Melaye would never have been in limelight of Nigerian politics. His bill should be shut down. Tribal marks intended for positive identification and is effective for connecting a person to their geolocation root. Correct? So the first thing to do here is geolocate where this tribal mark is found. Has Melaye even bothered to discover if this mark belong in Nigeria? Why is he sponsoring bill ahead of collecting facts? 2 Likes |

We have more pressing issues in this country right now than attacking traditional values and norms. |
