Everything stated in the write-up is nothing but the truth nature of wat is happening around markets around the country, using some as a case study, the question is when last did you pay a visit to the market?

when some slow pokes try to blame GEJ for our present mess, i just laugh.

20 years ago, countries like Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia were ranked as nations with potentials for positive economic growth. Which means in the past 10 years before that rating they had developed at a phenomenal rate.

20 years ago, Nigeria was a pariah state ruled by cabals which included the present president & was at its lowest ebb of development.

Within 5 years of GEJ becoming president, Nigeria was almost rubbing shoulders with Brazil & co, countries that had a 20 year head start over Nigeria & are now emerging economies (realising their full potentials). which means in 5 years, GEJ took us from a nation with economic potentials to an emerging economy. something that took others about 30 plus years.

Within 16 months of PMB assuming office, Nigeria has totally dropped out of that group.

& yet some morons blame GEJ for our present state...

Bunch of nitwits...

Gluthatione:

Are u talking of GEJ that they embezzled billions from his watch, I beg pack well

this old line of corruption has become stale.

you see those countries I spoke about? they had nasty cases of corruption too, but they are still moving on.

so corruption cannot be the sole cause of our present predicament.

was there corruption under GEJ? yes. no questions asked.

but then recall the following...

1978 - $2.8b oil money missing - OBJ/GMB

1990/91 - $12b gulf oil windfall - IBB

1993-98 over $6b stolen by Abacha alone - Abacha

1994-98 over N350b PTDF money missing, misappropriated or unaccounted for - GMB

1998 over $8b missing or unaccounted for - Abdusalmi

1999-2007 over $20b unaccounted for or misappropriated (NIPP, Siemens, road etc) - OBJ...

2011-15 arms deal - GEJ

yet Nigeria did not collapse...

1984-85 supposedly nothing stolen... Nigeria enters recession - GMB

2015-16 no theft ( according to blind folks).... Nigeria in recession... inflation over 18% (highest in decades).

who is deceiving who now?

wake up please... wake up...

I have bad news for all of us shouting inflation and recession. Buhari will still be re-elected in 2019 for another four-year term. Why? The gullible and foolish Nigerians far outnumber the sane ones.

lol...

you see, the problem is that silly chaps like you were given free reign to express your stupidity & spew your lies on this forum for far too long without being challenged.

so when people give information contrary to your skewered bullshit, you guys develop brain freeze & next thing is insult.

son, facts are sacred... even if you were born early or late 90s, try to educate yourself a little about issues before your time so as to get better perspectives on the present.
