Buhari will make the presentation before a joint session of the Senate and the House of Representatives.

President Muhammadu Buhari will expectedly present the 2017 budget to the National Assembly on Thursday, December 1, 2016.

Buhari will make the presentation before a joint session of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
This was disclosed by Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday, November 23.

“We can see that we don’t have a perfect document in our hands but of course we are looking at assumptions and assumptions may not necessarily be correct,” Akpabio said.

The Senators further questioned the government decision to set the foreign exchange rate at 290 to the dollar instead of the actual price.
