Chaii? Messi mediocre for Argentina ké? He has been the top scorer for that 'Shitty side' each year for sometimes now. Always bailing them out at crucial times. Ronaldo is a Lil behind Messi. He isn't a team player like Messi. More of a complete goal scorer, rather than a player. Messi scores, entertains, dribbles and give assists. Not many player can do these. Suarez is as good as Ronaldo when it comes to goal scoring, though less complete.

Sure Messi is good. But we all know if you remove Messi from Barcelona, he will not perform well. That is the reason he left international football.
Messi only performs well in the presence of World Class players. Even in Barcelona if you remove Iniesta, and maybe Xavi, you'll feel the reduction in Messi's performance.

How is messi mediocre with Argentina? Did u watch any Argentina games this year? For a start, did u even see the last game against Columbia? Messi is the engine of the team. He creates more goals and chances through his dribbles and passing than any other player in the final third. They've just been unlucky several times.

Messi is great with Arg. Nobody would argue that unless those who only checked goal scorers on livresscores. He has just not been successful with them.

The bolded is very sensible and what people always fail to check. Messi has always played for teams far better than Ronaldo's (and in some cases Barcelona gets favored over other teams - although Ronaldo enjoyed same under Man U and Ferguson). Even at the National levels, Argentina dwarfs Portugal in terms of quality of players each country has but even at that, Ronaldo has won a national title in a more competitive and difficult Europe (filled with the best set if teams in the world) while Messi hasn't won a senior team title in a less competitive America.

In my opinion, Both players are good at their own rights and none is better. Ronaldo is as much a world class player as Messi contrary what these Uefalona fans thinks nor says.

Cr7 is the best. He has played in both epl and LA liga and has proven himself winning the ballon d'or in two different leagues. He has scored 50+ goals in 7 consecutive seasons proving his consistency. He carried Portugal to d Euros contributing 80% of their goals :3 goals and 3 assists while Messi cannot win a cup with a country ranked d best in football. He has always been 2nd best in d finals. Those shouting Cr7 score tapins and penalties should remember that if penalties were easy, Messi wouldn't have blasted his to mars.

Ronaldo his consistent and can easily adapt to different climates and surroundings unlike Messi who has been in Barça all his life. All his trophies in Barça

Manchester United. Real Madrid and Portugal.

Maradona is a bigger legend than Messi in Argentina because he has won a world Cup. For those.bringing Olympics should know that Olympics have different rules with that of FIFA and it's q youth tournament. For u to accomplish something with ur country it must be with the senior team. Olympics is a medal, not a trophy.

Maturity: Man United was never a small team when Cristiano Ronaldo joined them, same as Messi. Messi was more of an individual player when he started out, same as Ronaldo. Guess who has matured overtime? Your guess is as good as mine.

About National Team Sentiment:Aguero has been arguably the best player in EPL (save injuries) for the past four seasons, he doesn't perform as much as Messi does for the National team.

Style of play : Ronaldo will easily fit into any team that has fantastic Midfielders (highly important) nd not too superb strikers (Benzema has become less prolific year in year out) because he is a beast when it comes to shooting accuracy and sharp shooting. With Messi, your team needs either prolific fowards or fantastic Midfielders (not necessarily the two) cos he can provide you with goals, passes and space openings.

About EPL Sentiment : I find it very very hilarious, when people talk about Messi being a one-league star. Pirlo, never left Serie A during his active days, yet no single great coach will bench him for any EPL midfielder. Yeah, EPL is harder, but it isn't down to tougher players, it is about the style of play. Ozil with all his slowness is a star in EPL as he was in Laliga. Robben was more prolific as a Chelsea player than he was at Real. Laliga has the technical side which allows you to fully express yourself as a player, Messi enjoys that same as Ronaldo does. Ronaldo wasn't a Stoke City player nor is he a Celta Vigo player, he played at Utd, then Real (where most of the plays were built to suit him), same with Messi at Barcelona. Any great player will perform at any of the three teams.

Cristiano left Manutd because Real was a greater team. Barcelona arguably has no match in football other than Real. So it is very understandable why Messi has stayed put in Barça, cos he can't possibly play for Real, nd will be absurd to settle for uncertainty at a lesser club.

Higuain never got to shine when he played together with Cr. He has been the best player in Serie A ever since he left. It would be very difficult for Suarez and Neymar to perform alongside Cr. They will perform, but will never match their current performances at Barcelona.

Overall, most people who understand football will prefer Messi to Ronaldo. Ronaldo doesn't have much to offer more than goals. Messi will entertain you, and still win you matches.
